Here, I'll just post what I posted in another topic. Copy & Pasted:

Uleguerand Range is great camp! It generally takes 15 minutes to get to camp without aggro. Aggro will delay that to 25-30 minutes or so. If you want to camp, you do it on the slope that leads up where, if you turn right, will lead you to Jormangund. You can pull from the bottom and the top, but the mobs at the top generally give better experience points than the ones at the bottom.

You pull everything you see, pretty much. Yes, even Taurus, they're really not as hard as you might believe. Demon's, however, give the most experience points. A forewarning however, if you see a Kindred Summoner with a Dark Elemental, kill the elemental first, as it will roally @#%^ up your party. I learned this the hard way, as the RDM couldn't sleep it even with Elemental Seal + Sleep and it proceeded to Sleepga everyone and then everyone slowly wiped. Of course, if you have a BRD, then no problem. ^^;

Need I also mention that Demon Horns drop from these guys and that the Kindred Summoners can also drop Dark Spirit Pacts? For those of you unfamiliar with Spirit prices, Dark Spirit Pacts are 350K on my server.

Its not listed yet, but there are big birds in Lufaise Meadows that con as IT still to me at 70. There's not much information on that camp, so I'm not sure about their level range.

IT SUCKS! I tried exp. off the birds here @ level 72, and OMG IT WAS HORRIBLE! The birds Conned T-IT but that wasn't the problem. The problem was, they are HARRRRD! They have insane HP + Evasion making them nearly impossible to chain. We camped down on the beach where it is OVERFLOWING with birds. We camped at the far left-hand corner. The camp wasn't overly safe as birds could aggro that spot, but it was the best we could find that was close to all the birds. There's also IT Fomors that like to roam the fields at night and got a wee too close to our camp for comfort. Though they never aggroed, I wouldn't be surprised if they could. NEVER GO HERE!

Thanks! I appreciate it. Any suggestions or additions would help tremendously.

Great guide...i wanted to add that the spiders in Altep for levels 26-31 exp seems to really drop off around level 28 as the spiders mostly con T with very very few IT's out there near the K-Tunnel entrance.

Wow, I had been looking for something like this for a long time now. I'm glad somehow I stumbled on to your post. I definitely had to rate you up. Thanks a million for the alternative areas that I've been thinking about for a while. Now, not only do I know I can go there, I have some idea of where to camp, and at what lvls to go there, ^^.

Just spent a while XPing in Attohwa Chasm as a 61 BRD in a 61-62 party and have a few notes.

#1: We camped in a different area to that listed in the directions above, which is a lot quicker to reach. Zone in from MoS, but don't cross the first bridge you come to. Instead, take the left cave entrance on the same side as you entered from, follow the tunnel around and after a short run you'll zone into a wide area with Tulwar Scorpions. These conned DC to me at 61 and aggro to sound, so sneak up. We headed SW from this point until we began to see Antlions, and then camped in a rocky area with a pair of Sand Lizards wandering around it.

#2: Antlions have fairly low evasion but plenty of HP. We never managed a chain #5, and chain #4 was a push. Our set up was NIN, DRG, SAM, BLM, BRD and WHM. As BRD I was using double minuet on the DRG and SAM as they were having few accuracy problems.

XP for the Antlions in a 61-62 party was around 150-170xp each.

#3: Our NIN noticed that the Antlions AOE blind attack dropped all her shadows. This wasn't a huge problem as she's a hell of a player, but for others coming to the area it's something to bear in mind.

#4: Once, as our puller was coming back with a Tracker Antlion, a Trench Antlion suddenly erupted from the ground just in front of the camp (the same stretch he had run over 30+ times previously) and hit him for 300+ damage. Fortunately we were able to keep it slept with no resists while we dealt with the regular antlion, before turning our attention to the unwelcome visitor. We killed it without any trouble, it was of comparable toughness to the Tracker Antlions.

This didn't happen again, but it nearly gave us a heart attack first time. Nevertheless, treat it like any regular link and you'll be fine.

----------------------------------

I enjoyed XPing here, a definite change from Onzozo, but you might find the fact you're not getting 200+ XP per fight puts off the "OMFGWTF!!" type players.

I'm not sure about difficulty (as I've never fought those, only seen the area) but there's a much better camp up near blueblade fell. It's this cliff all the way north if you take the north tunnel from the Valkrum zone. You need to sneak and invis your way past all the stuff you're going to fight, but it's a gorgeous area where nothing spawns and you can pull up to. I spotted lots of birds and a few rams when I ran there last time.

As for Formors, as long as no one has any Formor hate, it won't ever aggro. (Formor hate is gotten by killing Formors, like if people went on a subligar hunt or something. It's cleared by killing beastmen in the Tavnasia area, super easy to clear.) I also don't think there's any formors up where I'm suggesting, but it's been a while since I ran up there.

Fomors spawn on that cliff at night.

That area is horrible for exp. The mobs are difficult, have lots of HP, hit hard, and have annoying TP moves (max HP down, anyone?).

This area should be avoided for exp.

Garliage Citadel 1st Floor

PT Lv32-34 - Enemy: Siege Bats
PT Lv33-35 - Enemy: Beetle

Good site to avoid the stairs trains but pulling same mobs is G-9. You need sneak to get there but its a short run. Go straight down the stairs then when the way is blocked go right through rooms with undead in it back out to main hall. Camp in southern end of hall. No trains and no competition for bats/bettles (mostly bats). Escape or sneak out.

--------------------------------------------------------

Cape Terrigan
Tunnel at I-9 with level 54-55 Manaburn party for crabs. Ninji puller and 5 blm with Freeze instant dead mob. 250-200 exp per pull almost no down time.

Bibiki Bay, Uleguerand Range, Attohwa Chasm, Newton Movalpolos, Promyvion – Holla, Promyvion – Dem, Promyvion – Mea, Promyvion – Vahzl, Lufaise Meadows, Phomiuna Aqueducts, the Sacrarium, Riverne – Site #A01, Riverne – Site #B01, the Garden of Ru’Hmet, Ro’Maeve, the Boyahda Tree, the Den of Rancor, the Shrine of Ru'Avitau, Kuftal Tunnel

Can anyone give some updated info on this?

VERY good post, and good job on the details!

One thing that I would consider adding is notable Notorious Monster spawns in certain areas. For instance, in the Golem camp in sky, Ullikummi will pop after a certain amount of time. He is a bit more difficult than the average Golem there. Ose in Onzozo and Frostmane in Cape Terrigan (manticore camp) are others that come to mind (/fume for accidental pulls.)

Just my input. But this is VERY well done!!

Ok, my static went to Uleguerand Range last night. There has been significant shifts in mob distribution since my last time there (so ignore the post I made above). However the changes are all for the better. It's *much* easier to work here now.

Area: Uleguerand Range
Levels: 60-63
Camp: The down ramp at J-10
Mobs: Nival Raptor (66-70+)
Getting to the ramp requires traversing the first field (invis to get past tigers and bombs, careful of magic agro) to the first cave (a bat or two is in here, can just kill it or sneak past), then use sneak to get to the down ramp (shouldn't have to get close enough to the bomb to worry about invis). Very quick and simple. At the top of the ramp are about 10 Nival Raptors. They have a 5 minute respawn time. At 62-63 we could get chain 5 without breaking a sweat for 4k+/hour, and even got chain 6 a few times. Space for one party (possibly two if they're both lower level and going slow, and there's noone at the bottom of the ramp killing buffalo).

Camp: The down ramp at J-10
Mobs: Giant Buffalo (68-71)
Same camp, but at the bottom of the ramp. There are a fair number of giant buffalo easily pullable from the field below the ramp. Occasionally hunted by farmers. Should be good up to 65 or so, should you wish to XP there. Space for one party.

Brontotaurs (68-71) are scattered around closer to the second cave (K-9) if you're interested in those.

I will second this camp. Went there last night as a 59-61 party of PLD MNK BST BLM RDM WHM (me). The raptors hit us HARD, but the kills were FAST. BST charmed and used a Variable Rabbit. We hit chain 4 pretty easily every time, xp ranged from 140-220. It was nice because other than a paralyzing breath move, the raptors didn't inflict any other status effects. It was a very nerve wracking party though, as our Paladin's hp dropped pretty quickly, but overall it was fun to get away from the monotony of Onzozo.

I went to Ulegerand Range a few nights ago at 60-61 and the exp was fantastic. The raptors were giving 170+ each time and peaking on 230 at chain #5 which was literally every chain. It was a very easy 5k and hour. We camped in the path mouth sheltered by the cliffs as you come out the tunnel rather than on the ramp and it was very safe.

Does anyone have any recommendation for 61-63 range? I know Onzozo is an option but would Bibiki work? Any other spots that haven't been added to the main post?
