This guide was superb.
It truly demystified this area, for me.

Wingchild is a genius, up next, reading the Riverne guide.
We'll see if I can browbeat the rest of the guys into folowing your advice, and not acting like
complete Valkurm residents.

Maybe I'll win the lottery, too.

Wingchild, thanks for the guide. We put it to good use last night and beat the Minotaur with an alliance of 11.

Just a couple of things to note;
-Make sure everyone is well back from the minotaur spawn point, back around the corner to the SE of it's room where the aquaduct actually stops (or starts) right after the stairs up/down from the previous round room. We got drawn in when we weren't ready and the fight was messy to say the least.

-Just to confirm, our summoner who died while trying to catch up to us got drawn in dead from the first map so it definitely works across the whole zone.

-Demon Killer kicked in while fighting the minotaur. It kicked in for our Samurai several times, we ended up having him tank (with all his Galka HP) due to a lack of PLD or NIN. It's not such a bad option for this fight. I'm wondering whether you can lump all Taurus mobs under the "demon" banner, they sure look like demons to me. ^^ It would be nice if someone can confirm that because we're not likely to be going to fight them again anytime soon.

I'm on Aqueducts, and I am looking for a group to do it with. This guide was very informative. Rate ups for OP and all the contributors along the way. Thank you. ^^

Wow, six month necro bump ftw.

If you found the Phomiuna guide handy, try checking my Bookmarks (click my name to see the list); I've a few other guides out there, some of which cross-link to one another (promy -> phomiuna -> riverne as an example).

Enjoy.

Nice guides Wingchild, now if you could make a guide about "How to find people" to do this missions with ^^;

Don't get me wrong, I'm not being sarcastic or anything but the difficulty in CoP aren't the battlefields, but finding people to static with to get them done ^^;

I'm in 2-5 btw and I'm trying to start a CoP static, but I know plenty of people who are also having a hard time getting help for this.

Draw In (Minotaur Only) - AOE and has an incredible range on it.
Doesn't matter where in the zone your party/alliance is I think. I went on my BLM with a NIN and a WHM to where the Mino spawn area, and we drew in the rest of the alliance that was waiting at the entrance.

If you choose to do this, I strongly recommend that the folks heading up first have RR up. If it looks like the three of you won't make it, die in a hallway away from the Taurus and Fomors. Once you're past the slimes, there's not much aggro.

Be very VERY careful when you get near him, so your party has a chance to buff and rest since they've probably been killing the pugs and slimes near the entrance to keep from being completely bored.

When you win, get people out of Mino's draw-in range ASAP. There is nothing like having 12+ weakened people instantly cut down because some idiot didn't get far enough away. Go around the corner to rest, nothing will aggro there. If someone refuses to move or goes afk without doing so, kick them (or disband from their party if they're leader). Best bet is to get anyone with Tractor up first to move the bodies out of the way for those who didn't have RR up.

Oh, and the Fomors will aggro through the doors to the library, so be sure to have Sneak up if your party rests there before heading to finish the mission or farm subligar.
