Good idea. I liked it so much, in fact, that I have just opened up Visual Studio.NET and have created a solution & project for this endeavor. Look for the tool to be available in a few weeks...

... /em wanders off to begin coding. Ok let's see... gather stats from log files, generate database, create server scripts, write a client application... ok... let's get those strings set up TCHR* szGoodPartyText = L"The party you're about to join is filled with seasoned veterans. You will gain 20,000 XP in this party. You will end up with several new entries in your Friends list. I highly recommend that you join this party."...

Didn't Steve Allen already invent this?

<Joel> Steve Allen's thought of so many things already, that's why I invented the Steve O Meter. If you have an idea you just run the Steve O Meter over it and if it buzzes, well, Steve's already thought of it.

You start fighting again, and within two more fights, a noob on his way to Cape Terrigan brings a train the likes of which has never been seen before. The train includes at least 16 Robber Crabs, 3 Diplopods, and 4 Haunts. Given the size of the train, I can't be entirely sure, but I'm almost positive I saw Bubbly Bernie, Tom Tit Tat, Serket, and Ganon in there. It's not clear how one can even make a train like this, particularly since Ganon is from "The Legend of Zelda." Nevertheless, the entire party is wiped.

ROFL Man you made my day Ill pay ingame 5mil or 9 paymemts of $50 I never luaghed so much in a long time. I would get mostly /decline messages now maybe there could be a + 1 that gives you 30
better good party rates I would pay a arm and a leg for that.thanks for the good luagh

Very funny.

The regular one should give some details of the parties future, as illustrated in the OP. However, the +1 should also give you the winning lottery numbers, the party members' signs, what mystery meat really is, and a free massage with every use.

Ok, after partying in the Tree tonight, I'd have to say I'd love one of these things. The party was very much like the second example and remembering this thread made me laugh after a horrible outing. I swear this job is an idiot magnet.

Thanks for helping me keep my sanity.

Yeah it is a great idea but it need improvment alittle more realizm, instead of a external machine why dosent SE make a program for it remove the party o meter and enter the character evaluation, like everytime you meet some one you can make a new type of friend list or not so friend list that when you examine someone evaluate is now on the list to tell you what you know about that person wheather he is in a party who is in the party and how long they were partying (primary lenth of party time is a good evaluation of the quality of the party) it would look somthing like this
Palidin: Party Do you need it
Samurai(you): One second
/evaluate Palidin
Evaluation complete
Palidin level (???/???) <if hidden>
In party: yes
Members in party: 5
White Mage level (???/???)
Theif level (THF67/RNG33)
Bard level (BRD66/WHM33)
Black Mage level (BLM67/RDM33)
Personal:
Palidin (is a real ***)
Party (is lagit too lagit to quit)
/end evaluation
Samurai: Yes, Please
Palidin: OK sending invite

You will wait another 30 minutes for another Rank 2 replacement with an underleveled sub and macroes that contain the phrase "OMG ROFL LOLOL." Your tank, a Level 54 Paladin, will be equipped with a Level 14 Fish Scale Shield. He will die during the first fight with full mp.

Fixed.
