New NPC factsFollow

After killing monsters for about 19 minutes on the first floor of Promyvion - Dem, my group of friends went up to the second floor and looked for the ??? there. When we were finished after 30 minutes, Pakurara (my npc) gained 2000 Experience points.

Edit: Heals was able to count lol. 22 kills on the first floor, 6 kills on the second floor.

For those able to do the 3rd weapon upgrade, what level was your NPC and what quests did you do/timeframe?

At 51, I can't upgrade to the thrid great kanta Kanesada.

I was able to give my npc the Kanesada about an hour ago. I did the food quest a day after the update, I did the genkei quest this afternoon and npc dinged 51 at around 5pm est. I've also done the promy quest. Nothing else besides those, though.

Well, I talked to Luto after doing promy/npc51/food quest and she said something about being able to give my npc more weapons, or something.

I can't get the Promy NPC Escort quest from the RP. However, I do have the CN escort with Olavia flagged. Does the only one escort quest at a time apply to getting the Promy NPC one as well?

Here's something very interesting I just found my NPC doing. Those of you who have your NPC set to healers might enjoy this news. It seems the better relationship you have with your NPC the smarter they become. I was leveling her today and noticed that she would call out "Weapon Skill ready!" as usual, but when I got 100% she didn't go. The mob we were fighting was almost dead at the time. She opened the next battle immediately with Penta Thrust.

I thought this was just a glitch or something, so I paid better attention the next few fights. The mob was at 50% health, she said she had TP, I got TP, and she did her WS as per usual.
I wanted to test this theory of mine, so I got myself to 90% TP, waited until the mob was close to death and Sahyu got TP, then turned around and hit the mob to get 100%. Sahyu didn't use her WS again.

Looks like they can get smarter afterall. Hopefully this applies to their use of spells as well!

Has anyone tried raising affinity by using talk while EXPing?

How about trading with the NPC??

You _CANT_ use exp items while ur NPC is out

that may be work.. havent tried... but i know for a fact that using ring while npc is out dont work

There seems to be a delay on using enchanted equipment, abilites etc after you call your npc, 5-10 seconds delay. Seen it often as BST, cannot use call beast ability right after summoning NPC, have to wait a few moments.

If you took the time to READ the thread, you would know that the answer is NO.

I debunked my theory as to why I couldnt get the NPC Promy quest. I thought it was because i had an Escort quest flagged, so i unflagged it and then tried summoning NPC from a Promy Rendezvous Point. Still no luck.

My NPC is 50.5+
Finished the new Food Quest.
Done 2 Weapon Upgrades.
NPC has never died.

I tried talking to my NPC over and over until she offered promy quest but still nothing. At RP she gets stuck on some thing about 'Palmetto...' then when I am xping her she gets stuck saying she is halfway to level.

Anyone have any suggestions?
