Please also read about the BLM nerf "myth", it is not true. I spent my time to neatly present the info for those of us that could not go, I refuse to let some Johnny Retarded give you guys the wrong information. I was right there typing when they annouced all ENHANCEMENTS for most jobs.

Please people do not rely on information someone wrote 2 hrs AFTER they heard it. I brought my laptop with me, so I would not get any information mixed up, and provide you guys with the best.

If I could rate you up twice, I would. You would get one for this excellent info, and the second for dispelling this horrid blm nerfing crybaby fest.

SAM, when they hit the enemy will decrease the amount of TP the mob gets.

That sounds more like Subtle Blow-ga to me. Subtle Blow is when the mob gets less TP when you hit them. This says "decreases the amount of TP the mob gets." Decreases sounds a little different than Subtle Blow. Sounds like it would benefit the whole party.

Q: Will Whm have an ability that can apir MP from a mob so all members of pt will get mp?
A: No, but I will write that down, we've haven't thought of that either.

A little correction here.

Actually, while one of the developers seemed to be writing down the idea, Tanaka clearly said that an ability that allowed a WHM to drain either HP or MP would be too much like DRK's siphoning magic, and he didn't think it would be appropriate for WHM.

So no, they didn't say they'd give any siphoning spells to WHM or even consider it.

Wow, sounds like they actually listened to alot of what the fanbase has been saying...bout time, too. I am a little saddened that they aren't buffing drg along with everyone else. I am curious what their "fixes" for bst will be (hopefully they will be fixes this time!). Chocobo breeding is a godsend! The monster fighting arena sounds cool too! (I hope you have some control though...it'd be boring otherwise. Probably too much to hope for some kind of monster raiser scenerio).

As for the specific job changes, I just hope they work like planned. It sounds like 90% addition and maybe 10% subtraction...but it's the 10% that SE is known for....

Pokemon Uhrgan Edition? :p

I didn't put that they would be getting it, read it completely please. I put the question and the answer, there is no where in my post where I sad that.

They did say that WHM MIGHT get an ability that allows them to give a member of their pt Hp or Mp.

I know what I am talking about, don't try to correct me if there is no where in my post where I made a statement of which you accused me of.

I was typing word for word with my laptop during the whole panel, and I brought it purposely , so I would not mix any information up.

Very informative post though. Rate up!

Just wanted to let you know that IGN will be posting the Panel session, where they talked about, chocobo breeding, and when they talked about what they were going to add and what they might add to most jobs.

IGN said:

We'll have video footage of our discussions with Tanaka-san and FFXI Global Online Producer Sage Sundi, both of whom were kind enough to take time away from the throngs of idolizing fans to talk Chocobo breeding, job balancing and the Xbox 360. Stay tuned.

This is great now you guys can hear for yourselves exactly what they said.
