OK, fine. Smiley: laugh

Also, FileFront is being pissy with me atm. ((Files vanishing then reappearing...then vanishing again...then giving me a headache.))

Was able to finally get Dynamis - Buburimu up, and I still have about another 5-10 or so files to go.

File Manager is down for maintenance...again. I can't move any files around.

All new files are going to be in the root directory until movable: http://hosted.filefront.com/sirexodus

This will insure that the quality of the thread remains optimal. Also, due to unforseen yet comical circumstances, my FileFront account has premie access: no wait time for end users!

I have been all over Filefronts website looking for a premier type account that allows end users (users who are not you) to get good transfer rates on files. I have been able to find a service like this. The only thing I can find is Fastpass, which only applies to files you are downloading for your self.

May I ask how you go about getting this premier access?

I am currently hosting all of these through Filefront, but if you wish to add them feel free:

The Aria di Mezzo Carattere Opera (FFVI)

TheAMC Opera (Resolution 600x300) (Average Quality) (WMV File) (204 MB) (Mirror)

TheAMC Opera (Poor Quality) (Google Video)

TheAMC Opera (Resolution 600x300) (Excellent Quality) (WMV File) (400 MB)

Promyvion-Beginnings

Promyvion-Beginnings (Resolution 600x300) (Average Quality) (AVI File) (3ivx codec) (54 MB)

Going on a download/upload spree today.

Oh, and the Promy-Beginings link leads to the same opera link (low quality) above it.

Edit to add:
No worries, I went into your root directory and found the file you wanted me to link meself.

BCNMs, ENMs, some ZM/PMs, a little bit of Dynamis spoilers, and a DRG AF2 fight.

Your videos is gunna take a while. Either the bandwidth is shot from others downloading from you or your host just down right blows. I'm downloading at a whooping 13kb a second...7 hours remaining for ONE video.

Any ideas to make this smoother? Smiley: frown Only alternative I would guess is if you still have the videos in your compy, you can compress them into the zip file that would make Altana cringe and little by little send it over via AIM.

...but Exo! You can just send one file at a time!

Good point, little voice in my head, but I was hoping to leave that working overnight and hope nothing interrupts it. If anything AIM continues off from where it left off. If we luck out, I could get all those videos in one swoop.

For now...7 hours till I get Automa-whatever ENM60. Smiley: banghead

Edit to add:
Downloads keep freezing at a little into 0%. I don't think your host can handle me. Smiley: frown

Giving up on these for now...as juicy as they are. Please come in contact with me as soon as you can.

I don't know what's up with that, Exo. Maybe I'm getting hammered. I can hook you up with FTP access to that folder, perhaps. Would that help?

Not really sure, since it's a bandwidth issue. If you could setup another host altogether and not give anyone but me the link, that should speed up the process.

If anything, I'll try again if not tomorrow the day after to see if it's just that you got hammered.

Yay, stickied. ^^ I had just joined Allakhazam a few days after your original library was taken down. It's good to have it back up. And so nice and neat. ^^ ...While I am posting, "I" don't have a link for this video, but I was wondering if anyone has abg Recollection (Dynamis Remix) to put in this library. Probably one of the best final fantasy XI videos and I can't find it anywhere anymore. :(

You know, this is funny in a strange sort of way... I have used File Front for over a year now for various hostings, and I have never had the problems we have had the past week or so. Hopefully it just means a server upgrade or something... Smiley: bah

I'm hoping that they implement FTP Proggy access at some point.

(File Upload Queue) (Yes, please.)

Well, currently you can set it to upload a virtually unlimited number of photos and it uploads them one-by-one. Interestingly, the 'Add Photo' feature does work currently. Maybe they are adding in a similar multiple-file upload process for other file types...? (speculation, and not much to base the conclusion on, but I can hope!)

Here's hoping right with you!

One thing I noticed is that on the Upload File for Videos, it went from just picking the video and uploading to picking the video, categorizing it to it's game, then finally uploading...to back to how it was just to go completely down.

Smiley: confused

You are not alone. This is happening on my Filefront page as well. Also, you cannot download from free servers right now.

I have my Maat fight up on FileFront as well, but I thought it would make a good addition to the ones you already have. It's an Elvaan SAM fight.

If not, no worries, just thought I would offer. And thanks for organizing this stuff, either way!

I think it's your connection. I pay $7.50 US/month for hosting, and I just tried to download off the server and I was getting high speed downloads.

How about I just give credit too my Moogle instead, huh?! Smiley: tongue

All videos are downloaded/uploaded in order that they are posted. Was stumped when FileFront died and well...I was busy this weekend on the actual game. Smiley: laugh

Maybe it's that I'm trying with FileFront? What browser are you using? ((I -still- can't get your videos.))

Safari. I also just tried with Firefox, and it also works just fine. I'm convinced there must be something wrong with your connection, Exo. Maybe you should just link to me.

Smiley: motz That's unpossible. I download and upload just fine everywhere else but your server. I don't get it.

I normally do my updates at work, but I'll try your server from home.
