I vote that someone records this thread somewhere, so that when we get another huge update, and it generates similar issues, that we have this thread to look back on... i dont think a sticky would be needed but still... lol Sense this has... happened before...moreorless.

i havent had the nerve to zone into a "Dead zone" yet, ill cross that bridge when the time comes, anyways i was always checking post to gather any info i could to inform my LS about it and what they could do. Several members were almost at the brink of quitting over this but i convinced them otherwise telling them they wernt alone and that it will be fixed at some point.

So thx Allah for helping me and my LS members.

Clearly I scared the snot out of the R0 cult and they ceased their operations.

Hmm, many R0 threads.... But what about the minority of people who didn't suffer from the R0-deadzone symptom?
I had a freeze problem (no not the magic type >.>) when I wanted to check status effects or cancell them. Basically my deadzone was every zone >.>

I want justice! I feel discriminated and I demand affirmative action >.<

And I lol'd at all the R0 threads. By Altana's thong, that were a lot of threads...

I'm just glad it seems to be fixed now. :)

I have been lucky in the fact that I have not had any issues regarding this.

Anyway, does this seem to be fixed now?

At work, I had a mail come in from KDDI (Major ISP/Backbone in Japan) that for the past week, they have had issues with users from Japan have not been able to connect to some/most US sites and that US users have not been able to connect to JP sites/services.

edit: One of their core routers had a bad port card in it. Wonder why it took them a week to find it?

Would be interesting, because this would validate that it was NOT SE's issue, for once. LOL

Yes, it is fixed....I was stuck in Al'Taieu (pretty much a worst case senario as there is NO way out once you are in if you're R0) and was finally able to warp out today.

Glad to see it is fixed and while I kept my mouth shut all this time, I will say I'd like to see S-E take a few basic courses in customer service. While I understand this was out of there control, I've seen other games that have had similar problems either give some discount on the next bill or (and this I like even better) a "double xp weekend". This would go a LONG way to gaining back some of the customers that may be very upset about this whole situation.

Just my $.02

I wouldn't call this "fixed", not by a long shot. I have 7 characters. I can log onto two of them and get a POL-3001 error when trying to log onto the other 5. Now, I don't think you can feasibly say this is a problem on my end when I can get to the character select screen just fine every time. I have been trying this repeatedly and it is the same 2 characters I can log on with, and the same 5 that I cannot.

This is obviously an SE issue.

One thing you may want to try is a FULL File Scan (from the POL application).

Something might have been pooched.

Glad to hear at least the issue may be coming to an end.

I bet KDDI has like 1000+ PCs, Unix and Macs in their office, so may be locating the problem is a little more difficult then it sounds like. @_@ In some ways, when people complain how often their hard disk, internet not working, it is amazing how reliable they are. My home desktop PC -- 6 year old, never had an issue. Of course, I never over clock it ;)

Hmm. I'm really not sure this is fixed, I personally still have the same problems of R0ing whenver I go into Lower Jeuno which is about the worst place for me I could get this. Consequently I haven't been able to play since Friday.

Anyway, going to go check it out and report back as to whether it's sorted now. I really hope so...

May the Internet be with you :3.
