Why the hell did SE decide to frackin' release their game on Thanksgiving holiday period? That was just stupid, It's not like their going to attract tons and tons of new players by having their game release on Black Friday here. I hate this day with a passion >_<
Also wtf ps2 & xbox get released before {Impossible to Guage} PC!
I am starting to loose my patience w/ the professionalism of this corporation. And no, not just because of this. Little stuff that accumulates over time.

I just went to 2 game stops and a best buy during my lunch break and they all said they couldn't even sell it till tommorrow much less get it in.

ok...well i just got in installed finally, still wont let me register it through expanded services. hoping it works before tonight is over but i doubt it. this sucks :(
Gamestop in New York says it shipps tomorrow. They won't get it until Friday or Monday.

I have both the PC and 360 version pre-ordered from Gamestop's online store. My 360 copy says it has shipped, while the PC copy says it is Processing. If there really were orders from corporate to delay until all versions were available, somebody either didn't care, or wasn't paying attention...
Edit: OR, optimistically, there actually won't be a delay for the PC version. It's just shipping later today or in the wee hours of the morning. *crosses fingers*

Hey guys, just want to share this as I work with this technology.
Here is the link to the PC version on gamestops web site: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=647203
The Pre-Release Ship DATE is manually inputted, but this will automatically update to “normally ships in X hours†the second the product is delivered to their distribution center(s).
This is all handled by a Warehouse management system (WMS)
The Ships date is “always†the date it ships from Japan, so the second it reaches the US and is scanned, this will be updated.
The Check Store Availability works the same way for the local stores. The second the shipment is delivered to the store this is updated.
The only faster way to find out is to call and have the gamestop guy look it up. His PC is on a direct network which literally updates instantaneously, the web site has to wait for a publish (maybe every 15min, idk…)
Bestbuy is the exact same thing.
Bestbuy is not advertising that they will even sell the PC version, so idk who is having luck with them ><.

Dont use gamestop as a means of getting information on when it ships. They wont know til about a week after it is in their stores. Hell their website lists FFXIII as coming out in december of 07
Is it possible somebody could PM me a torrent file of the PC version if anyone has found one? It's not that I am to cheap to buy one but I am to cheap to buy a new DVD burner :P

Just called EB was told they are getting it tomorrow, and it shipped today. hopefully it is true. I will be sad watching my roommate play on the 360, and I cant play on my PC. :( Maybe each area is different? IDK, hopefully all of us on PC can get it tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

I ordered my copy today from Amazon.co.uk. I ordered it from them because I could pay for guaranteed next day delivery and they specifically stated despatch 21st with delivery 22nd before 1:00 pm.
I can't find anyone else for UK that could beat that. Though some people in my EU linkshell have said that Play.Com have sent them emails that it has been despatched today already. Typical eh?

The guy in front of me had a preorder too (for a different game) - but they hadn't gotten anything out of the boxes so he had to come back - im guessing the rest of the FFXI stuff is in there too.

I just got off the phone with Gamestop, too. I pre-ordered it and they said it'd be in tomorrow. However, I didn't ask if it was the PC version or not... This really ticks me off.
Edit: Haha. I just re-called them and asked. The guy I talked to said, "That's what I've heard...call back tomorrow and see if we have it."

Might have missed a post on this but.... anyone in the UK phoned GAME or pre-ordered with them? They have changed the 360 release date to the 23rd but left PC as the 22nd. Anyone know if this is the correct dates? Would of phoned them but only just got home from work and seen this thread.
Debating whether or not to call up my local Gamestop and see if it's arrived yet. Meh. They told me it would be coming in in their morning shipment today (Tuesday).
Oh well. It's right across the street from me pretty much, so I guess I'll just drive there after work and find out for myself.

My copy of FFXII-Revenant Wings has a ship date of the 21st, with an arrival on the 23rd. It's being prepared for shipment.
My copy of FFXI has a ship date of the 20th, arrival on the 21st. It's saying 'Not Yet Shipped'.
Sigh, hopefully my Xbox 360 will be in Gamestop tomorrow.
