PC users: Did you think you’re getting WotG tomorrow…Follow
Called the Gamestop here near Anahiem, turns out they DO have copies of WoTG in as of 2:00pm PST. He said they have the 360 version but is unsure about the PC version as they are still going thru their shipment. I am about to call them again shortly.

Seriously, you won't be @#%^ing happy until SE releases a full sized Bahamut avatar you can @#%^ing ride and use to kill players that annoy you, one shot AV/PW/Shinryuu, and burn the FFXI nations to the @#%^ing ground for fun. All while actually restoring mp used instead of costing any.

At this point I just want to know when they'll launch the content.
KiokuMemory, just to save you some time if you do decide to go down to Best Buy, it looks like they don't even sell the PC version of the game. I called at the store here and was told that, and went online to confirm. There was no PC copy for sale even online.

For ToAU, we found out about 48 hours in advance. They posted the day before it shipped, and announced it would be available in the evening of the following day.
Then again, we got boned for CoP...
Hopefully they will post soon when it is going live (it will be vague in terms of the exact time... but it's better than nothing).

I can see it, 10 years from now, the PS2 is still out-selling the Xbox 720 and PS5 in Japan because FFXI can still be played on the PS2.

Just came back from the EBGames and the GameStop in Wilkes-Barre, PA and both confirmed, and checked twice at my request they will have the PC versions of the expansion by 12 noon Wednesday.

because it kinda defeats the purpose of a simultaneous launch...

You can't predict the future.
But you wouldn't be ******** over the people who can still play. Everyone would be on a level playing field. The way it is now only PC users are getting screwed over. Delay the content activation and nobody gets screwed over.
Yes you can, dimwit. They knew Thanksgiving was around this time. They could have easily waited a !@#$in week and released it then. They do have offices in California, you know.

I count everyone on here who is complaining about getting it 2 or so days late as lucky! I've just been informed that many of us poor Australians who play FFXI will be waiting until December 13 for the expansion to hit stores!!!!

i'd agree with you if this was not SE we were talking about.
S*** always "just so happens" to SE.
with this, they screwed up 50% of the expantions packs (COP and WotG)
but look at other aspects of the company, take Final Fantasy CC for the PSP. 2 and a half years ago they said it was a holiday realease, and we STILL dont have it...

I just got a call from Gamestop with the same news - in by noon tomorrow.
I've been calling EB games after EB games and Gamestop after Gamestop, probably called 20 or more now and "most" have said it will be there tomorrow before or around noon. One said they did hear about the deley and it would be in friday but he even said some how some stores might have gotten it today, or will be getting it tomorrow. I'm just very confused. Again, if anyone ANYWHERE in southern california finds a copy or finds some where that are confirmed has it in and selling tomorrow or for sure getting it tomorrow please post it or PM me.

Hmm, in my family Thanksgiving takes about four hours. After that I want to play FFXI damnit. Hell, I took Friday off of work specifically so I could play FFXI all day. Now, if things work out like I think they will and I can't pick up my copy tommorow, I'm going to have to drive out the Gamestop that I have already fully paid for my copy in to pick it up. This Gamestop is a satellite store to one of the largest Walmarts in the area. It's not going to be pretty.
The Gamestop I go to in Scottsdale, AZ did not have copies of the WotG expansion for PC, PS2, or X-Box this afternoon. I was told that they would be in tomorrow -- I hope. -_-
