Thanks, the thing thats is getting me down is my friend lost his book in a move from california to washington. So I'll need a bit of luck for him to find it, but if he does he will mail it to me so I can keep it in a safe place.

And I will never trust just norton again, thats for sure.

Here is some good advice.... DON"T PLAY FFXI ON THE SAME PC YOU USE TO GO ONLINE!.

I know, your like wtf???

Get a cheap ***, 1880 style Pentium 1 PC to get online with, and go buy a router.
Let your good machine run the game, and go online with the other PC.

Don't tell me you can't afford it, people throw them away every day.
