You know what? This is my favorite Happy Friday comic of them all. I have to give this a 10/10. Very funny Smiley: laugh, I love it.

Good concept, poor execution. Six, maybe six and a half.

10/10

This year I had to work, and yet I sat in my office hitting refresh on the live feed on twitter. I can't tell you how much some of the reactions made me laugh, and yet this comic instantly warped me back to 3:00 a.m. my time when all this happened live.

great job !

The only thing that bugs about this "face being blown" thing is I've never heard this used before. Is it from a country outside of the U.S. that has been translated to english? I've commonly heard the expression "it blew me away" when reacting to unexpected or awe striking news, but this saying is based on the idea that was is so surprised that the wind even blows them over. It has nothing to do with any explosion.

I'm sincerely curious because I can't figure out if this is a bastardization of the original saying or if it is perhaps another culture's expression.

I think it's something that one of the community reps, Devin, made up and said to Elmer. After that, that's all people were saying in the CoverItLive.
