Congrats!

Damn, was really hoping to be in one of the mentions. Here's what my submission was: Genji Shield

I guess since the entry period is over, it can't hurt to post my design. I've already seen someone on AH site post almost the exact same design in silver and blue, lol, so I guess it's a pretty obvious idea:

I'm a bit confused on the commentary for the last shield, though. I see the X, but not an XI. :|a

I really like that shield model, but I think it might have been turned down because there's not a direct tie to XI when I see it (though the border does look like it was based on Hahava).

Now... will they give the new shield stats to compete with Aegis and Ochain? I'm just asking for trouble aren't I?

It'd be nice if were a real end game shield, but I'm fully prepared to just get the costume. The real prize is getting to put 'contributed art for Final Fantasy XI' on my resume ;D

It'd be a pretty *** move if they didn't just give the grand prize winner the full shield.

Seeing him to Cloud's buster sword was funny, too. They needed like 3 guys to swing it.

Holy cow. I'm glad I chickened out at the last second. Some of those are really outstanding.

"Fun Characters," fourth row from the bottom, is my favorite.

My favorite is the Teleportation Shield. It's instantly recognizable.
