I have Cherukiki, and I'd have to say that Kupipi is better anyways, so you're really not missing out on much.

Yeah, she casts Haste where Kupipi doesn't... sometimes she casts Regen III, but...

Cherukiki does not melee at all (at least since the last time I tried her), which means no Starlight/Moonlights.

Cherukiki blows her MP way faster than Kupipi; you end up doing a lot more resting and a lot less killing. I suppose Cherukiki might be OK if you're summoning some help for an NM or a battlefield fight or something, but if you want long-term longevity, Kupipi is way better anyways.

Mihli is decent, but she uses her TP on random weaponskills (Hexa Strike is awesome, Black Halo ain't bad... but when she starts using Judgment... eh yeah.) but she doesn't have Kupipi's longevity either.

The Starlight/Moonlight thing might not seem like much, but it is always awesome to see her pop a Moonlight and restore 150-180MP to everybody in the group (I've seen her do this, and it is awesome).

EDIT: I saw the thing about higher-level synthesis. He mentions "allowing people to get their synthesis skilled up easier". I hope they mean at all levels. IMO, they should buff the skill rate Pre-80, and insert a few cheaper recipes in the middle in some crafts so that it isn't so annoying to try to get crafting skills up. I tried doing Catoblepas Leather not too long ago, and wound up blowing 5 stacks of Catoblepas Hides that took us a couple weeks of solid XP in Bibiki Bay to acquire... and only got 2.5 levels for example. Meanwhile, my Goldsmith got a .1 on every single Geode cut at the same crafting level.
