This Play online ID cannot be transferedFollow

hello, Has anybody solved this problem yet? I cannot seem to find answers. I spend all this money on ffxi and i am denied access.
I used to play this game years ago and dont remember having this much trouble. please help.
my password and id are 100% accurate

Honestly, I know it sucks to hear but just start a new character. If you haven't played in the last 5+ years you likely have very little progress that can't be made up in a month or less.

thank you 4 responding,, The thing is i am starting a new character, i'm not trying to play old one. New game,
new registration codes, id's everything. I downloaded the non-steam ultimate seekers edition.

Might wanna edit out your handle just for safety.

Otherwise, did you activate a Content ID within the XI section itself?

Hmm yeah, okay that is weird. I did a quick google and this seems to be a thing. Can you try doing livechat with support at SE?

yeah to be honest it is like they don't want people to play their game.

I'd go through the whole process step by step, make sure you have a content ID etc, make sure you've got the right POL ID etc.

Where do i go to find out if i have content id? and your right it's like they go out of
there way to make it difficult.

Think on the left you click Select Service > FFXI > Option List.

Mine lists all my IDs, so I don't know if there's a create option if you have none.

Its says US in my active service account but i live in Canada, does this effect my situation?
I'm grasping at straws,i am so desperate 2 playSmiley: nod
Is steam for global players, because i downloaded the non-steam version of Seekers which hopefully isn't just for American players.

To my knowledge, there are only NA, EU, and JP versions of the game. However, you can not buy cross-region expansions. If you downloaded the game from SE's site, might wanna double check to make sure you got the NA/US version as the EU pages probably aren't indistinguishable if in english.

If you ordered it online, yes, they should've given you a code that you'll need to enter. If the retailer did not, make sure you check your receipt or the order history on the site for it.

Based on what you put here it seems like you might be on the wrong site.
I couldn't see anything like what you have in this post on the Square enix Account Managment site (which is what you want to be on) But I did see this exact info on the Square enix Memebers site(which is NOT where you want to be) Hope this helps.
