Would be nice if they told what the trust did, but I'm guessing a GEO-type given the whole cheer emote.

Well, the only Geo type Trusts I know of are:

Sylvie (gotta be in her UC and is actually a Geomancer)
Brygid (single modified buff)
Kuyin (single buff)
Sakura (singlemodified buff)
Sybil (single buff)

So Sylvie is really the only Geo Trust available, the rest are just "pseudo" as far as I've seen, but I typically run with a group of people so I haven't kept up with any newer trusts the past yearish.

If you mean the picture in the middle, I don't think that's supposed to be for a trust of that character, but instead the fan she's holding.

Yeah, the fan is listed at the top "This Month's Special Item" for 500 points. It looks like there is no new trust this month, but a chance to catch up on a lot of previously missed ones (assuming you missed them).

I have been ignoring FFXI for a few years now. My wife and I tried to get back into it but found the amount of time we spent traveling and setting up groups to do stuff made it hard to have fun... This email made me look into FFXI again and it seems while we where away they took a few steps to make every issue we had go away.

If Trusts make the game as solo friendly as it seems I think we will be coming back.

They pretty much do...
Me and my girlfriend have been doing allot of the old content and some new and no issues finishing any of it with trust other than the last fight in Rhapsodies.
Might not be geared enough, i do not know. In that fight the trust seem not smart enough to get out of aoe's and they die fast and are hard to keep a live and then it ends up being Tesee and I. I am whm and at this point not enough dps to finish it in time.
