I've been playing for over a year on my current FFXI account and just the other day received this email:
Due to a processing error with your payment method, all recurring options for the following service account have been cancelled.
details: - payment method, Service account Name: PlayOnline / Final Fantasy XI.
There were instructions saying to simply select 'Reactivate" from the relevant service account's Options list.
I have been through the PlayOnline and SquareEnix site for a couple hours and I still cannot figure out how to reactivate my account. I also edited and double checked my payment methods to make sure they were correct and they were.
Also when going through my account on the square enix website i cannot find any history of my registration of ever playing ffxi
