25th Final Fantasy Anniversary.Follow

#1 Jan 05 2013 at 5:13 PM Rating: Excellent
Here is a link for a 25th Final Fantasy anniversary fan made tribute.

It talks about every entry in the game, the cast who helped create the game (Some who we know, some who we don't) etc etc. Is a very interesting read. Tho i hated the VII 5 pages part <.<

I found something right away:

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

"Originally Released:
December 6 1992
Available On:
SNES, PS1, GBA, Wii [VC], PSN [PS3, PSP, Vita]
Key Staff:
Takashi Tokita, Toshio Akiyama, Akira Oguro, Ichiro
Tezuka, Junya Nakano"

And then

"The After Years launched in 2008 - and it wasn’t even a trend setter."

I'm pretty sure it never saw its day on SNES and PS1 but still.

IV launched on 1992, the after years came 10+ years later, and it was only released on Wii, and PSP( And mobile phone)

Anyone who still uses IE deserves to not see the Newsletter....

J/k but IE is on the same list as Comcast and Subway, to name a few. I hope you get a new browser soon.

That was a beautifully assembled tribute. I read it last night - love the detailed interviews and the history. I never knew about the Sony and Nintendo kerfluffle over CDs - I bet Nintendo regrets that now.

Chrome it up. (Am I about to get tech-dork smacked for that comment?)

"Chrome!" he said timidly, as he knew many tech-dorks were watching his every move.

Chrome is fine, Firefox is fine, anything other than IE really. I use Chrome at home because I think it has a speed advantage over FF slightly and I like that Chrome syncs everything (extensions, bookmarks, open tabs, etc). At work I have to use FF because Chrome isn't allowed which sucks.

Netscape.

Smiley: grin

Naw, just yankin' yer chain. Chrome or Firefox. I marginally prefer Firefox largely because I hate the *********** that Chrome makes in task manager, where every individual tab is a running process. Silly reason, but that's just me.

That was a wonderful read -- so much effort put into it -- thanks for sharing! :D

edit: or should I be debating Firefox vs. Chrome now? Smiley: lol
