Hi all.
I have a racing chocobo at Gold Saucer, but I have no idea how to train it. I bought some food, but I can't do anything with it. Talking to NPC's doesn't seem to do a thing, and the in-game guide doesn't say a word about it. Since all the online chocobo guides are about something completely different I gave up wasting my time to find it on my own and came here.
Can someone explain the basics of race chocobo training for me? Do I have to race it to some level to start doing it?

I've seen this one, but I checked it again, just to make sure. It still doesn't have the information I was looking for.
It lists all the food and where you can buy it, but not how to use it. What I was looking for was that you have to speak to some NPC in Golden Saucer (can't remember which one) in order to actually use the food. It was pretty confusing to me at that point, because I thought all you have to do is just use it from your inventory.
Anyway, wouldn't it be great if they added some sort of duty finder to let you find players to race with? I'd love to do it with real players, because racing with NPCs isn't that fascinating.
