Here's wishing you all good luck in the coming year. Take advantage of the Lunar Festival to fire off some fireworks and kill a fearsome beast. Outside, the fireworks are building up to a frantic pitch and we've still got a couple of hours until midnight.

Sigh, Rat here! Bad news? Hey, my entire Year was preempted by the Olympics! I think I'm doomed until 2020. The good news is that at least I'm a Metal Rat and thus something of a Harry Harrison fan.

If you're following the years and signs, consider that I'm looking at an August wedding to a (Fire) Tiger.
Things are starting to wind down. Despite talk of a possible ban because of concerns about air quality, the fireworks were still quite lively. A 9th floor apartment gives me a good view.
Monkeys are awesome.
