The price of a productive weekend is that it slams right into Monday. How'd you do?

WOW: My old Horde Warlock made it to, and almost escaped from, Outland. I count that as a victory.

RL: Tyger kept checking in over the weekend and was incredibly sweet. The bad news for the weekend is that my most recent CPAP may have kicked the bucket. Fortunately, the older one is still in good condition.

OK, not the most exciting of tales. Surely, you can do better! Let's hear it. Smiley: lol

RL: Parents returned last night, sounds like they had an awesome trip. They got home abou the time the tv show Vikings came on, so I said I'd see all their stuff/pics tomorrow (today) after work.
So ya..work 1st -.-
Sunday is Easter, no idea where we are going for it. I assume my grandmother's.

Games: It is another Beta Weekend in Wildstar, I plan to play it as much as I can. Check out The Exiles' side as last beta I played in I just did Dominion side.
If I play anything else, it will be D3. Crusader got a whole lot funnier the moment I could heal myself (and I started to get HP on hit/kill gear). Hard mode seems easy, so I may step it up a level and see if it will be challenging for him.

RL: I've yet to see the pics, but everyone else has lol. I need to take the ipad away from here if I wish to see them.
Hung out with friends Sat night. They wanted to get drunk, but I could not because..
Easter Sunday. Went to my grandmother's. Had a late launch. Me and my older cousin and his wife colored in coloring books while talking the normal stuff we talk about for a few hours (games, tv shows, books, life).
Now it is Monday morning again -.- BUT there is a concert I'm going to this Friday, so there is that to look forward to.

Games: Pretty much just toyed in Wildstar. I find I like the Dominion side more, and I really dig the Drake (dragon) looking people. So I made countless characters and saved their skins for when the game goes live. I also actually played the game some as well. Seems there is so much to do, that going in any direction will get you some where with quests. Kind of neat, unless you are someone who feels the need to do every quest...I normally don't mind skipping over, but for some reason I felt I had to do it all, and that made it seems like I was running in every direction at the same time XD

Missed friday due to being a holiday and too busy at home to post ...

Gaming - went from Paragon 50'ish to Paragon 69, wanted to get closer to 100 but had a lot to do this weekend. Raised my crusader from 10 to 32 in a couple of hours, adventure mode levels you up pretty quickly. That was it for gaming, just the D3 grind.

RL - Friday was a holiday so went fishing with the family and did yard work. Saturday was more yard work and grocery shopping. Yesterday was easter so egg hunt with nieces and nephews and then R&R in anticipation of work today.

Overall was a decent weekend, didn't work too hard but accomplished quite a bit.

RL:

Will visit a friend this evening. We'll play the Lord of the Rings-LCG and maybe watch a movie. Tomorrow have dinner with my father and my uncle. Sunday get myself to visit the gym. Also write some for my diploma thesis. Have 12 days left till I have to hand it in and I want to make the most of it.

Gaming:

Do some dailies in Hearthstone, maybe a few Riftruns in D3. In WoW do some more dailies, farm Conquest points, a few mountruns and such.

The LotR + movie night was fun overall. Even if the movie we decided to watch (the Oldboy remake) was horrible. Not because I'm an avid fan of the 2003 version, just because the new one is a really bad movie imo. The ending was pretty good but everything before that either bored or annoyed me. We watched it with German audio so the synchronisation played a role in that as well, but even apart from that I just couldn't get into it.
Dinner on Saturday was nice. I did manage to visit the gym on Sunday and made some solid progress with my studies. So my RL goals were all met. Smiley: nod As for gaming, I did exactly what I had planned, so success!

If you don't mind me asking,

How did the "weekend goals" and "weekend summary" thing start? If you can't tell, I'm pretty new to WoW and the forum, I think it's really cool that the community shares their intentions for the weekend, both in real life and in gaming, and then checks in about it. What was the thought process behind the whole thing?

Thanks!

World of Warcraft released late over here and weekend threads were already popping up when I started lurking. The earliest one that I find that seems to have gone anywhere is this one.
