I keep ZAM up almost all day; it moves slow enough that I don't write much, but I'm almost always one of the first to squish spammers Smiley: tongue

FYI to anyone planning to get remote herdkeeping. It IS a useful skill, but there's a downside. You need to put food in the piggy feeder, but veggies put into it won't produce seeds like they would if you manually fed a pig 3 pieces of produce. So I'd plan to put cherries/beans in it. I figured it would produce seeds, so I just wasted 80 veggies. :(

Grain is the best for the feeder in my opinion. 5 or 10 per squeeze, 5 squeezes per chicken. I just fill mine up with the grain and keep them happy.

I did notice that in my 50k house, the pigs are eating a TON more grain than they did in my 4k house. Maybe they weren't eating always like they should have before. I went 1-2 days before and only used 2-5 grain. Now I use almost 40 grain from when I go to work and get home, or go to bed and wake up.

Yup! It might be level-based, as I couldn't find Vataro either.

Moi

Oh, and Ikkian, I saw your messages (rather late, since I didn't notice they were layered. :P) but it won't let me type anything in the box. Idk if you need to be on for me to send a message or not.

I make a female in pretty much every game. I thought you'd have figured that out by now.

Also, I REALLY hope they change it so that the number of seeds you get increases with the number of veggies you feed a pig. You still only get 1 if you feed 3 or 9. Just give me 3 when I feed 9 so it doesn't take forever to replenish my patch...

Vermillion is hosting a huge birthday party in-game right now. So many players were crammed into his house at once that we all got kicked out at the same time. The party had moved to Buckward Vale street when I left.

I love community events like this, even if it's basically just everyone standing around. Here are five screenshots I took with my handy dandy camera.

I am really digging this game... I can't wait to figure more out. I think I've been sort of learning my skills in a silly way but, meh, whatever XD

I finally am done with the favor grind for BL5. I'm not at 100% bonus, but I'm currently at 17 and a half hours, which put me at about 4pm tomorrow, which is an hour before the end of the work day. Any more time and it'd be a waste.

So I ran around for a couple hours, basically interacting with anything I found. Learned a few skills (Soil Appreciation I, Light Green Thumb I, Element Handling, Alchemy I, Meditative Arts I, Better Learning I), but other than that... I have no idea what I'm doing. How do I make money to get a house? What should I be doing? I'm basically just doing quests as I get them, but other than that... no clue.

yeah I am regretting learning alchemy at this point since I can't figure out what good it is. I'm cooking all the time though.

Alchemy is used once you get elements; elements are found from refining ore; ore is mined through (go figure) mining. I find alchemy (and it's advanced form, Intermediate Admixing) to be somewhat "higher level" stuff, as there's little ore in Groddle, and a lot of higher level skills support it well (like making great drinks for buffs that cause you to use zero energy while mining/refining).

My recommendation would be to focus first on either animal kinship, which will give you a lot more bonuses when you nibble piggies or milk butterflies; or gardening, which gives you much larger harvests from trees.

If you donate a lot of stuff to shrines you get favor with the giants (at 1000 you get an emblem, which is needed to unlock higher tiers of skills) as well as a LOT of exp and a mood boost. If you need money, find a vendor and sell some stuff... or just level up. You get a good amount of money while leveling.
