How many alts do you have at 80? Start running the daily random on them and try and squeeze in the weekly raid when it's an easy one too. Collect 23 frost. Buy Primordial Saronite. Sell for 2-3k depending on your server. Profit. :)

This is my first and only 80, so far. Have a druid coming up but he's at level 62. Guess I could farm some iron and mithril on my druid as that seem to sell for decent amounts.
As you probably noticed, my professions are tailoring and enchanting on my paladin. Not the best options for money making, except the better enchants I guess.
And I have already used 50 frost badges for the cloak... but I have 19 now so in 2 days I'll have one ore. :P

So, I've made some progress in ICC25 on my new server with this nice guild I found on the day I moved there.
Got as far as Saurfang and got him down to 15% on our fourth and best try before he enraged. And mind you we don't have the best geared players, even our GM was surprised we made it that far. :)
Oh, and I got Bryntroll from Marrowgar. A decent upgrade from the Tyrannical Beheader from PoS, don't you think. :P

Well it is not much but I just got my Pally to be the highest level character i have ever played on WoW 68. Its been a long hard trip, but i have finally made it.
I soloed Doomwalker, he dropped 500G and 2 boe epics. Very fun fight, quite trivial in ICC gear though. Went to have a crack at kazzak but he wasn't there.
In a successful two weeks I have obtained 3 drops from ICC25, the rep ring, emblem trinket and the Battered Hilt, has brought my unbuffed spellpower up to a very respectable 3180. Now saving saronites for the crafted legs, only 6 more to go.
Soloed everything that moved in molten core. 2 of the bosses were very difficult, gehennes and baron geddon. I'm gonna make obtaining Sulfuras and Thunderfury my goals before cataclysm hits!
yay for blood queen down...now just the last 4 harder hard modes to go
Got one piece of gear to replace. Then, all my gear would have an ilvl of 251 or higher. Havn't seen a head piece drop so far in ICC. Makes me sad.
But my guild is awesome though. Having a blast raiding with them, even if we still struggle with Sindragosa on P2.

OMG Necropost!!
I have been soloing loads of TBC content just for fun the past few weeks. Magtheridon is now a weekly thing for me, 500g for a 9 minute fight is nice. I soloed Karazhan today, got the Fiery Steed mount my very first kill. Also completed Black Temple with an overgeared and over levelled group. The raid leader kept trying to stop and explain tactics, I just kept pulling and killing everything, we had 15 85s.
Also got The Seeker title.
So a few nice achievements for my Paladin, and none of them Cataclysm related.

They can be considered Cataclysm related in that you were level 85!
Personally I love soloing old content, makes me feel all high and mighty ESPECIALLY when the boss is all boastful then I kill him in like 10 seconds without a scratch on me. Also I find it funny that I do more dps now by myself than most 40-man raids from Vanilla, and probably more than most 10-mans of BC.
Grats on fiery steed btw. I don't know how many times I killed that guy and never saw it drop.

Oh yeah, also picked up a couple of the Silithid mounts from AQ when we went with a 10 man group. Everything died fast and I reckon 3 mounts dropped from every trash pack. Now that you have reminded me of that, I am going to go and try to collect the mounts I still dont have from there, it all counts towards the Blue Dragonhawk.
Gratz Ebany (and ty actually for the necro, I liked this thread) on your fiery horse :) Been trying to farm it myself, no luck yet. Saw it twice when Kara was current content, and lost both times :( 8 away from a Dragonhawk.
My guild has been slow to start raid content, but we had our first kills Thursday night! Knocked out Argaloth (sp?) in 3 attempts, then went off to the Conclave of Wind. First night trying them, and on the last attempt before calling it a night, we got a kill! Was really sloppy having only 3 people still alive and seconds before the first guy came back to life, but that made it all the more exciting :D Also got me a shiny epic sword off some trash in Bastion last week.

I done my first 25 man raid of Cataclysm today, it was only Baradin Hold but it was still good fun. I was top dps (18233) even while using my mainly Blue armour and weapon. I cant wait to see what kind of dps I can manage with a proper weapon. If I ever get one. I just lack the motivation and time to raid anymore.

Sup Pallies! I logged into WoW for the first time in two months this weekend, threw on my tank set and pugged H SFK lol. Felt good. Looking forward to seeing what my Ret DPS is in raid now since I haven't played since before last patch.
I tried it on the target dummy and it felt a bit slow but thats ok becuase I was playing a rogue in Rift which is spammy as hell so a slow rotation will be nice again.

A bit slow showing off but got Defender of a Shattered World a few weeks ago! Really pleased, this is the first tier of raid content I've cleared while it's still current. Now 2/13 HM, hopefully 3/13 during this reset if we can avoid the attendance issues of the last two weeks :)
Gratz Viidred! My guild is working on Nef right now, 15% is our best attempt so far. We just need to iron out a healer death and losing the add tank during phase 3. So, hopefully I'll be joining you as a proud bearer of said title very soon :D
