I felt like gloating.

After much stock piling of mats from my near endless addiction to farming. I decided to liquidate my four almost full bank tabs of ore, gems, herbs and other assorted mats.

Two days, 670 items in the auction house, and 11k gold later, I still have 150 things in the auction house.

Who knew that I would sell over 50 stacks of Infinite Dust for 78 gold a stack?

My goal was to break 10k gold off the auctions, now it's to break 14k :D

Here is my guide to farming.

Step 1: Trip to any Local Business that sells Alcohol in any form. For me, thats the liquor store since gas stations dont sell beer in ND.

Step 2: Return to your place of residence and power up your computer, turn on vent and wow.

Step 3: Begin to announce to everyone you're going to be intoxicated.

Step 4: Crack beer into microphone to remind everyone of incoming inhebriation.

Step 5: Mount your flying mount, or flight form.

Step 6: Begin Drinking.

Step 7: Farm for hours in a drunken stupor, making sure to crack beers into the microphone.

Step 8: Pass out on keyboard.

Step 9: Wake up with keyboard marks in your face and bags full of mats.

Step 10: Profit

But as for the whole North Dakota not selling beer in gas stations it's even worse for me. I live in Fargo, no wise *** comments you jerks :(, and we're on the border with Minnesota. Well across the river is Moorhead and the whole city has a ban on beer being sold in gas stations. Funny thing is you go a little further east into a "suburb" of sorts called Dilworth and they can sell beer in the gas stations. Even though Fargo/Moorhead/Dilworth is all pretty much one huge *** city.

And for my addiction to farming, I like being rich. Plus I'm pretty good at staring endlessly at my monitor w/o a care in the world. I generally sit and talk with my guildies on vent and usually I'm drinking.

Which reminds me about why I crack my beers into vent.

Thats not a bad ring at all.

Right now I'm at 543 haste I believe. Though if I ever get lifebinder to drop from Freya I'll be around 600ish. I've also thought about regemming for more haste again since the JC changes are coming. 27 haste gems are absolutely sick.

Epic Disaster!!!

I just moved house from my tiny 2 bedroom unit to my massive 5 bedroom house and it is TERRIBLE!!

I can't get ADSL :( I even tried dialup yesterday and was getting 17% packet loss

Waiting on a wireless broadband modem now but am scared that the latency will end my WoW career :(


....or I could sell the house and move back to a crappy unit again....

Basically, it is just bad luck. I live right on the boundary between two telephone exchanges, just out of the ADSL range of either one and then the copper wire to the house is probably 50+ years old. The government is planning a massive broadband roleout of fibre to every home in Australia but it will be a few years before it is done :(

In the meantime I have ordered a wireless 3G internet connection and will have to try playing with 6-800+ms ping instead of my already painful 300ms ping.

Not sure what it will mean to my raiding career :(
