I don't have a lead foot! There was a lot of uphill driving, especially after the CA/OR border, and I did a lot of passing because I was driving too fast for trucks in the right lane but too slow for cars driving in the left lane. (Sorry, I'm not in the mood for a speeding ticket from the Oregon state police). The mileage I got is impressive, all things considered.
And believe me, I wanted to drive into Washington to fill my own gas but my dad wanted me to fill the tank in Oregon for the slightly cheaper prices. I went to the Costco station near Portland airport and got 3.619/gallon. I believe the Costco just across the border was priced at 3.679/gallon.
