The human trinket racial is pretty sweet even tough it did get nerfed recently. I'm not bitter about the nerf, not at all...

(human)

Oh, I agree. I hate the Alliance. So I'm just going to pretend my character is still a Blood Elf, just using the whole mind-manipulating part of the Shadow tree to make him look like a human.

Don't judge me if a little harmless roleplay makes me feel less dirty about being Alliance.

Any human is what I'm going as, I think. The racials really are the best for shadow PvE, in my opinion.

I've got the priest action figure, which is human. I just pretend she's a blood elf with her ears tucked under the hood. If you always show helmet/cloak you may be able to get away with it. And then when you go into BG's pretend the goblins are gnomes.

Sadly, the WoW one is probably the least dorky action figure on my desk.

I fail to see what's sad about that. That's awesome.

You know, I might. But the Star Wars figures are not on my desk, they're packed away in a closet somewhere. I really ought to find them. They're the originals from when I was a kid.

My desk is home only to my priest, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Poe, and Charles ******** What, you didn't know there was a market for Charles ******* action figures? Trinity used to be up here too but she was too tempting for small children (who for some reason are not equally attracted to Poe, raven on his shoulder and all) and OMG YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH MY TOYS.

I've been considering getting a Tesla action figure but that goes against my policy of not getting any more stuff.

ARGLBLARGHLBLARGH!

Or in other words, I was thinking of maybe leveling my priest cause I heard that priests are actually good raid healers and I like raid healing so gimme some info on spec/how to level blablabla. (Yes, I'm horribly lazy and assuming that my large number of posts and total awesomeness give me enough credit so that someone else will type out what I want to know without any effort on my part)

Also, how was everybody's Christmas?
I've had 3 fancy dinners, 2 fancy breakfasts and a good amount of alcohol. All in all a fairly standard but enjoyable Christmas without too much family bothering me.

Go with a melee spec for leveling, it is the most efficient way of gaining levels.

I still have the flu, should be better tomorrow.

I was certain it'd be dual wield wands that would rock for leveling.

Nah, hit becomes an issue so you go with a 1 hander and a OH for stats or use a staff/2H Mace.

It a talent in the melee tree that lets you use them. Duh.

Hey, I haven't touched my priest in 6 months. Right now I barely know what she looks like anymore (plus that layer of dust is making it hard)

When I pushed mine to 85, I was Disc. Didn't notice any real difference in killing speed until I got into TH or some of the quests with elites in Deepholm, this was sans Spirit Tap glyphs.

Which would have been great to use in retrospect. Regardless, pick a spec, kill stuff click on shiny things, take talents that look good for leveling in what ever tree you pick. Holy is probably slowest and shadow fastest with Disc in the middle.

So what's what for healing?
I'm not really terribly interested in questing as I've already done every quest in the 80+ zones on my hunter.

So you nicely answer hunter questions in a priest thread...

I like Smite, Moz hates Smite, many folks like Holy, and IDrownFish supports shadow.

Sine I like Smite I will tell you Smite, plus you like to hurt things so it should keep you interested.

Priest spec is in the link, the 2nd one is the one I use for healing PvE. Had Reflective Shield for leveling cause it rocks and went into Inspiration last I respec'd at 85. Had the same glyphs I have now. I'd swap a major for Spirit Tap if I had to do it again but mana was mostly fine even without it.

Smite stuff, hold AA for when **** goes down or you need burst. As it makes Smite cheaper/stronger and Penance cheaper and you can Penance more cause ToT reduces CD. Keep PoM on CD as it is good. Mainly use PW:S for Rapture procs and the WS effect. I have a Rapture tracking addon so I can delay shielding till it can proc.

Keep IF up always, use GH and PoH when Smite and Penance wont do the job. I tend to use GH on the DPS so I can use Penance to instantly restack Grace on the tank. GH becomes efficient with ToT and IF abuse. I never use Heal. Heck, I use Renew more than Heal as Renew can tick on DPS and doesn't mess with my Grace stack.

I heal based around abuse of ToT in some way no matter what I am doing. That talent kicks so much ***.

I don't hate Smite, I think it's ******* awesome =P. It's just sad that it's not worth it, though I like that it's good enough to work for heroics.
