Accomplishments!Follow

I've never really had goals in WoW until I started really getting into Hunter. I'm nearly lvl 80, and in the past 2 days I've caught 2 sweet new pets; Buru the Gorger and Arcturis. Loving Hunter more than ever. Next time I log on, I'm getting a ghost worm from Storm Peaks. I'm addicted to pet hunting.

Just had to gush somewhere. Taming Arcturis was a real rush.

So I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I finished Vash'jir (and, consequently, all of the Cataclysm zones) and decided to poke around Ghostcrawler's area. Whizzed around on the seahorse, and spotted a dot on the map after not even one full patrol. Landed, Nerfbat'd, tamed.

Saturday I decided to start making the rounds of several rare spawn locations between queues. In the afternoon, I stumbled across Loque'nahak. Landed, tamed. Late Saturday night, I stumbled across Skoll. Landed, shot with an arrow (there was someone chilling on a flying mount nearby), tamed.

So this evening, I decided to go and buy a few enchanting recipes from the shard trader in Twilight Highlands. Thought what the heck, I'll see if Sambas or Karoma are up.

I buzzed Karoma's spawn points, and on about the 5th point I crossed, npcscan raised a stink, and there was Karoma! Landed, tamed.

This luck can't continue, can it? Four Spirit Beasts in three days?

I either have terrible luck or my server is so bad everyone spends all their time camping pets because I have yet to find one.

I did a little searching at the end of WotLK, but never had any luck. Now I have been spending a decent bit of time looking for Samba and still no such luck.

I don't think Jadefang itself has anything to do with the daily, but in order to tame it, you have to have accepted the daily from the dude at the entrance of the cave Jadefang is in. There's a point where you have to use the explosives from that daily to blast yourself into a raised side tunnel where Jadefang is.

Also, I found Grubthor yesterday. :D

Caught Sambas today. My want list is rapidly dwindling. Still keeping an eye out for Terrorpene, Madexx, and King Krush.

I really hate you!

Haven't really hunted rare pets. I am pretty stoked at becoming raid viable again. Magmaw is a biggie for us because we can kite the bloodworm adds and it appears that omnitron is also hunter friendly, since we toss out frost traps in the center for the raid to kite adds through.

I miss the dps we did in wraith but at least we aren't as bad as we were pre-cata release where bm was the only viable spec, while spamming arcane shot =(

I wouldn't trust a war being able to collect all the worms, a mage maybe or even a dk. Plus if you are doing the setup where the entire group, except the kiter is by the pillar near Magmaw, you won't have enough distance to use range...

I picked up Olm the Wise on my Night Elf hunter, after leaving her parked out at his spawn point for a few days and checking every time before I logged in to my hordies. I'm not much of a rare hunter, but this was one pet I really wanted--what a rush! Got a lot of compliments on him while checking the AH in Stormwind, too. :)

I had a great day hunting, grabbed Terrorpene and Ghostcrawler in the same half hour!! working helping my brother grab each as well, but we havent had any luck as of yet.

I caught Sambas the other day too! Finally I'm starting to acquire some cool pets. Now I want Terrorpene.
