I think the thing I miss the most about being able to put talents in multiple trees at once was picking this up early while leveling Affliction. I feel like these two talent points are the best spent talents if you are doing solo play.

I took those talents leveling as destruction as well. That extra healing was nice anytime you wanted your pet to hold on to an extra mob or two. Like if a patrol wandered into you, or if you pulled an extra add. Plus less stopping to heal was always good as well.
