Level 44 night elf rogue.
Went for training. My spell book shows two new abilities, mutilate and mutilate off hand. Both say see your trainer" but the trainer (Ironforge) doesn't offer training in either. What is going on here?

Well, it shouldn't be available from the trainer since Mutilate is now a base ability you learn the moment you pick the Assassination talent tree.
Any chance you had your talent points reset, maybe from buying dual-spec without ever assigning points to your new 2nd specialization?

Both of those have just shown up in my spell book too - on my lvl 9 Rogue. Safe to say it's a bug.
Yeah, it must be a bug. I'm dual-spec (Assassination/subtlety) and it is in my assassination basic set, but still comes up in the training slots in the spell book at level 44.
No big deal I guess.
