The Return! (A little advice?)Follow

Alright... after a not-too-long hiatus I've decided to return with the lifting of the level cap and rumblings from friends that Abyssea is an exp-dream. I'm currently installing the three mini-expansions and than I'll download Abyssea as well. I just have some questions:

Is it going to be impossible to get the mini-expansions done now since everyone rushed to complete them when they first came out? Obviously I'd like to get the augmented armors from them. What's the best way to go about it... just shout around Jeuno/Whitegate for pickup parties?

Can someone give me an overview of Abyssea? Although I'm installing all of the expansions and want to complete them relatively soon, what I most want to do is experience this supposedly awesome exp machine and level a couple of jobs to 80 (already dinged 76 on my DRG in just a day!). Is there anything I'm gonna have to do after installing? And what about these new weapons and such? Obviously I'm not here to be a mooch - I'm doing as much research as possible on my own and I'll check it out first hand as soon as I'm done with all installations, but if someone can lend a guiding hand through the basic "need to know" to give me a kind of summarized, help me get the gist of it so I can get started explanation I'd be most appreciative.






Also, if anyone here on Lakshimi needs Windurst mission 8-1 and forward I'm trying to finish rank 10 on all three nations and this is my last one.

Alternatively, if anyone needs ToAU 44 (Nashmeira's Plea - the last AU fight) let me know as well. I'd love to get together with some good people on here and accomplish both of these goals (I'll make a separate thread for them though).
