I myself was recently a member of this ls, and all I can say on behalf of Great Britain is..... Sorry everyone!

I have never met a bunch of more arrogant people in my 2 years of playing final fantasy online. Yes, I have made an account to post this, as I certainly don't want to be sent tells everytime I log on which are abusive and threatening.. which seem a big part of this linkshell. The people in the linkshell will know who this is aimed at!

So to anyone who in the future has any thoughts about joining this linkshell, I would just like to personally warn you of what you are letting yourselves in for. I am just dissapointed in myself for not listening to long time friends who warned me of this linkshell and its reputation when I 1st accepted a pearl.

I knew a few people in this ls, they were nice guys. One was a really good player. On the whole though :( the ls seems to be more spanish then british, if you know what I mean.

In the sense that they steal, play their jobs half-assed, and come off as condescending; yeah, I'd definitely agree. The mulatto who runs the shell needs to grow one collective ball and learn to make better decisions with regards to the members. Britishgeezers is one of the most ill reputed linkshells on Ragnarok, rivaled only by Chocobogordo and its legion of idiots, what's left of them anyways.

My apologies if we have ever "stolen" a mob, I'm sure we didn't mean too. As a sack holder of BG I should be doing a better job to fix the reputation of the ls. So I offer my personal apology if I have ever offended anyone (apart from Alacard) and next time our LS does something wrong, give me a tell and I'm sure it can be resolved. As for the members that play "half assed", there is nothing I can do, but I, myself will try my best not to be "half assed".

Why don't you have a talk with your boy Barik. He "borrowed" a Hagun from someone in the game while they were away at university, and when that person returned he wouldn't give the Hagun back. Over a four week period he started playing this stupid game. First he ignored /tells (he was changing zones, so he was there), next he claimed that more than one person played the "Barik" account so he would have to get with the others to discuss the situation, then Barik would log off whenever the other person logged on. All the wonderful behaviors of someone who had no intention of giving back the item that was borrowed.

And yeah, I can see the argument that the person who let Barik borrow the Hagun shouldn't have done so. But they trusted Barik, thought he was a friend.

It's reasons such as this that BG has such a horrible rep.

I heared a different story from Barik, but you have my fullest apologies, yet again. Has the hagun been returned yet? if not I will reimburse your friend myself the full amount (yes it will take a few months for me to farm the gil) but your friend has my apologies. Although I am not accountable for Bariks actions, I would be more than happy to farm to reimburse the hagun that was stolen.

It will take a few weeks/months but please be patient, I will pay in installments as it takes me a while to farm) Also can you please message me the name of your friend so that we can sort out weekly installments (and for his privacy)

My deepest apologies -Aqaia

Seriously, if you reimburse that sh*t because a stranger had a bit of a cry to his friends about a stolen Hagun I will hadouken your face. It's his own problem if he wants to hold an entire linkshell accountable over the actions of one member; more than likely this guy is just a bit butthurt over the situation and has never even encountered any other members.

Also: Barik said he sent that sh*t back long ago, what you did with it is not his problem. ;|

I remember the ruckuss over this, Barik told me that his friend quit and gave him the hagun. But taking a break is another story, don't worry your not the one going to pay, I will be doing this out of my own gil. It's giving the ls a bad rep, I can't kick him because he's become a sack, but I can repent for his selfish actions. Like I said I will deal with this personaly, I would be heartbroken if it happened to me. So because Barik will not fix this, I will.

You need to stop enabling people and start telling them to get ****** or everyone will walk all over you, whether you give this guy the gil back regardless of whether he is trying to scam you or not isn't going to change his view on BG. This is one person; why should his worthless opinion matter compared to a hundred others who don't even know/care about the LS, or the hundred more who do like it? Loads of these kinds of people exist, with personal grudges against an entire LS they've never even encountered because of 'he said she said' rubbish. If you really want to waste your time farming for this anonymous whiner then go ahead, I pity da foo tbh.

Just because i'm not elitest and take a non biast view doesn't mean you can tell me what to do, I honestly say I don't give a **** about what you think shoes. I said I would reimburse his friend if the hagun has not been returned.

I'm not elitist either, I'm just not a tool.
Don't make me laugh, seriously. :|

I'm a member of BG, and have been for a little under 6 months now , and to be honest I've found them friendly and helpful (Hell, I'm even dating one of them IRL now, so they can't be that bad) . Sure, theres good natured ribbing and heckling in the shell, which was a little intimidating at first, but its a great shell and once I got up the confidence to talk to the members more, I found them really helpful, not just in giving advice on elements of the game that were new to me, but also practical help in camping NM's and inviting me along to events that were new to me .

I don't know anything about the Hagun thing - that was probably before my time, but to be honest, no one except Barik and the person landing the Hagun know the full story . Clearly one of thems lying, and as I said, it was before my time, so I'm not qualified to judge. Seems harsh to judge a whole LS by the actions of one person though . Looks like Aqaia's offering up a sensible solution, although its perhaps a little unfair that she feels she needs to make up for someone elses mistake :)

No, the Hagun wasn't returned. The person who it belonged to was on winter break and would most likely have let Barik continue borrowing it when he went back to school. He won't be back in the game until summer break, so if Barik grows up a bit and learns what maturity means, then perhaps he will do the honest thing and return the item. I'm sure my friend would want the Hagun back, not the gil. Otherwise he wouldn't have farmed his *** off to save up for it. His error was in trusting Barik.

Ah, now that's the spirit of BG right there. Do you not see why your shell has such a bad rep? Aqaia asked for an example of something done wrong by the BG linkshell, I gave that example.

And no one expects reimbursement for the stolen item. They want the item returned.

He wouldn't have sent it to me lol. He would have sent it to the person he borrowed it from, but he didn't. Or is that what he is telling you now?

If they had any intention of quitting the game, then it would have been well known by me and several others. We knew specifically that he was unable to play for a while due to school, but he never quit the game. Barik claiming he quit is a prime example of how he is still lying.
