Three months post-launch, the divisive Elder Scrolls MMO has reached Steam.

Bethesda suddenly announced earlier today that The Elder Scrolls Online would be available on Steam "later today." That time has already arrived, and here are a few things to note:

• Patient gamers rejoice: Standard Edition is 50% off ($30); Imperial Edition is 40% off ($48)
• There's no word yet as to how – or rather if – existing players can get ESO on Steam
• Edit: No Steam keys for current subs

The move seems to be quietly appreciated by the community, eager for new players to experience the game. If you haven't played ESO yet, it's a great time to take the leap!

Reminder: Quakecon 2014 starts today and includes some livestreaming from Bethesda!
