I'm sure most of you have already seen this, but just in case, from 1pm to 9pm EST there is going to be a huge patch: At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable. There will be an auction house server maintenance accompanied with a FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance. For this reason, the expected maintenance time will be longer than usual. We apologize for any inconvenience. *The client software will also be updated at this time. Once this maintenance is completed, the client update will start automatically after logging back into FINAL FANTASY XI. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen. Just so you know, you can already start downloading the update. I just did, that way as soon as server maintenance is over I can hop right on.

When are they gonna correct the problems with the samurai job? I subbed my war for it and i have missed so many times it's pitiful. Why is sam so gimped? Fix that and then Square will have something to be proud about.

thf is suddenly desirable after level 60!!!
we can carry lots and lots of fireworks!!!! -_-

remind me why i would want to synth/buy fireworks again? ^_~ maybe they will make them into synth ingredients or sumfin... and do you think this will affect the recipes for them as well? ie: instead of synthing 1 at a time, you get 10 or 12 from each synth?

While waiting for this 8 hour update can anyone here please take the time to explain or tell me at least what catagory on this website i can go to explaining how to get a subjob when hitting lvl 18.....i was explained on the game before but i had so many different versions of what to do and i am confused now.....oh and also how long it takes usually from start to end on doing that whole quest....thnx every1....

It's amazing, I'm actually at work and catching up! I even had lunch with co-workers instead of being glued to this site.

Tonight? Well, the movies - gonna see Farrenhite 9/11 - sold out yesterday (thank gawd, cause I got to level 30 last night as a result!)

Bummed about the nm's cause my ls we were going to try for one of them, and just stay camped there all day until we got one for each of us. Now...

I guess I can finish taking out my summer clothes now, and answer all those unread e-mails. Return phone calls from my imaginary friends etc.

Maybe even have dinner at the table instead of it sitting next to me.

Drat - I just got an extension cord for my keyboard. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to try it.

Mannakins? We'll see.

How about letting a bard have a shield? Bards farm too, it would be nice to feel a little bit secure when farming.

The subjob quests are under Quests & Missions. Go to By Type then By Job .

However since, I'm feeling helpful here are the direct links...
Selbina Subjob Quest
Mhuara Subjob Quest

I recommend the Selbina Quest. Good Luck!
