Correction To Special Rule

There was a mistake in a particular part of the previous news detailing the new "Best two of three" system. The correct information is as follows. [Special Rules] "A team that wins the third match and has the top-scoring player shall be awarded two match points." It was then stated that in order for this to apply that " the same team win the first and second matches. " This statement was erroneous. The correct condition is as follows: Regardless of the outcome of the first or second matches, if a team wins the third match and has the top-scoring player, they shall be awarded two match points. In other words, if the score is 2-0, and the losing team manages to win the third match, then they can tie the game with an overall score of 2-2. However, by the same token, if the winning team wins the third match by the conditions mentioned above, then they can win with an overall score of 4-0. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

I hate these new rules. The original rules are way better. With these new rules no matter what if you are wining you can still lose.

On my server people only play in Pashhow Marshlands and Jugner Forest. Its rare that people in the other zone. I have no idea why, but they do. More NA players play Ballista more often and now I don't have to stay up all night to play one match.

At first I didn't think that Ballista was very popular on my server (Quetzalcoatl), but then I realized that it was because I was only looking in Meriphitaud Mountains. No one ever seems to play there on my server. However, a lot of people play Ballista in Pashhow Marshlands and Jugner Forest. I recently saw a no-cap match in Pashhow Marshlands, and it was awesome. I saw like 3 or 4 people with Kraken Clubs, and one of them had a Ridill and Kraken Club. They were attacking nonstop, and the guy with the Ridill was spamming Savage Blade and Spirits Within like crazy.

Ballista is usually best played with people from your LS or close friends, it's usually cancelled because it's a high level thing...and most high levels are busy, or have better things to do ^^
Huh

Not 3 matches... It only needs 3 players per team. Also try joining ballista at night (Level 40 +) because lots of JP players play ballista often at night. The new rules I hate. Instead of constant fun it just divides one big match to 3 small ones.

This is a perm thing !? :(

There are barely enough people signed up to play ONE match most of the time, let alone three.

The difference is that they originally said that...the special rules are best of 3. They are apolagizing, because the third game could make it a tie.

Hope that clears things up a little bit...

I've played Ballista... once... (cause since then they are always cancelled ><). Reading this has made no sense to me, and it basically sounds like its gonna be kinda.... boring... after awhile. I liked the old system myself, guess I'll just have to try this.
