CGW Subscription with Allakhazam Premium Membership

We are pleased to announce a great new addition to our premium service. I think you are going to really like this one. New Members: In addition to all of the excellent existing features we offer, when you now sign up for or renew your premium service you will receive a special bonus: a 12-month subscription to the print edition of Computer Gaming World Magazine is included in the purchase price. Yes that's right. CGW is the longest running and in my opinion best game magazine on the market today, and we have managed a deal to include a 12-month subscription as a part of your regular premium membership service. We are including it as just one of the many features you get with your regular $9.99 per three months Allakhazam subscription. But there's more. Existing Members: We have arranged an additional bonus for our existing members. All of our current premium members can get a free 12-month digital subscription to CGW to hold them off until their next renewal. Just click on Your Account in the menu of the site and you will see your personalized link to the signup page. This bonus is on top of the print subscription you will get when you renew your membership the next time around. Thus, you can enjoy the magazine online right now and when you renew your membership, you will be switched over to an additional 12-issues of the printed version of CGW. Consider it our thanks to you for supporting our site. So to sum it up, here's just a part of what you get with your Allakhazam.com Premium Membership:
  • A 12 Month Subscription to Computer Gaming World Magazine
  • 10% off MMORPG Games at EBGames.com, including expansions, plus 20% off pre-owned games and 25% off strategy guides.
  • The advanced searches for equipment, quests, recipes and mobs to let you find exactly what you are looking for.
  • Your own personal forum.
  • Advanced forum options such as an avatar, title, searches and smilies.
  • No more popup, tower and banner ads.
  • Your personal @allakhazam.com e-mail address.
  • Access to the features on all of our sites, including ones for upcoming games such as Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft.
  • Exclusive entry into our contests and drawings.
  • And much more. Click here to see all of what we offer.
  • All of this for the monthly price of a cup of fancy coffee. Forego your caffeine for a day and sign up and start enjoying all of our great features and also look forward to that first issue of Computer Gaming World arriving in your mailbox. Sign up here for instant access.

Free downloads always make me nervous, but since this is through Alla I risked it.

The magazine rendering software is a HUGE download (and each magazine issue isn't exactly tiny) but the rendering and usability are far better than any other digital magazine presentation I've seen.

This is definitely a +1 perk!

New bonuses just keep aggroing on my Alla membership...and I originally subscribed just to get rid of the ads. ^^

I happen to be doing my premium membership a year at a time (it's easier for me to keep track of that way, actually) - and the digital subscription bit says that its offer expires in November.

Does this mean that people who are buying their memberships in larger chunks won't be able to get the magazine subscription if their renewal comes up after that date, or is that date only related to the digital subscription?

It means you need to sign up for the 12 month digital subscription by November in order to get it.

Yeah... right... which is more important: having access to premium features or being awake to use the basic ones?

holy cow man do you work for the company or something? :) j/k

What ever happened to the feature where people can let the site choose which equipment is best for them. That is the only reason i joined this premium stuff?
    Thank you.

    HOLY CRAP!!!! THIS ROCKS!!!!

Thank you guys for providing a great service to the allakhazam community, especially to premium members. Unlike other boards, forums and sites, you guys really come through to your members (premium and non-subscriber). The ease-of-use of your site is brilliant and the FFXI information alone is worth several hundred trips here a day. You do so much and ask for so little in return.

That's enough kissing a$$ for now. Ahh, who am I kidding; I don't even like CGW. But it's free.
