Details on Current Known Issues: Addition3

Since the implementation of the latest version update on Sep. 13, 2004, the following issues were discovered and amended by the Sep. 22 maintenance: -Under certain circumstances, a different key item was being displayed for the quest "A Reputation in Ruins" after receiving the quest. -Being able to enter certain area of Pso'Xja without accomplishing the necessary requirements. We are also aware of the following issues, and are currently investigating, as well as working on the operation to amend these issues. We will make another announcement once the following issues are amended. -While a party member is KO'd in the areas with level restriction, the experience points are not properly distributed among the party members. -Level 75 players with the key item "limit breaker" are only able to receive limit points in the areas with level restriction. -Under certain circumstances, players are not able to control their characters upon entering the battlefield in Monarch Linn. We also confirmed an issue with the quest, "All by Myself." Currently we adjusted the setting so that the players are not able to complete this quest. However, if you already received this quest, it is possible to cancel the quest by talking to the NPC who gave you this quest. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. ------------------------------------------------------------

Poor SE. I'm actually surprised that the European/Expansion launch is going over without MORE problems, considering they added twice the content of what was there before.

One thing these guys are good at is being committed to this game . Before you know it, there'll be a version update and all these bugs will be gone.
hmm

Hmm. O.o Not that we've that much experience in CoP yet, but maybe I missed something. Anyone have any clue what this is, or what it does?

It almost sounds like it's some special key item that allows you to enter level capped zones without the cap... Possibly you earn the ability to by getting the item and collecting points from kills? Sort of like the WS quests.

... That's all just my random musings, though. Seriously, anyone know what it is?

No, those are merit points. :o

I thought the same thing when I first read it, but double checked to see. They're merit points, unless Squinx is just deciding to change its terminology mid-game.

Limit points are what EXP turns into when you can start earning merit points.

10,000 limit points == 1 merit point.

Does that make more sense now? :-)

Heh.

Consider the alternative, however: Discovering issue, having them talked about/reported/complained about, and yet having them remain unfixed for weeks or even months at a time...the way most other MMORPG's tend to be.

I'd much rather have to deal with frequent patches than with (*coughswgcough*) a broken game.
