Loot Table Reset

We've reset the loot tables on MC bosses, Onyxia, Azuregos, and Kazzak, since their loot tables have changed, making our loot tables and percentages out of whack. Don't panic that your favorite mobs loot is gone, it'll be back and more accurate once people submit it using WowReader!

About how long will it take to build loot data?

i would say about a week, then all of them should have 100+ kills
Old data

I would say just keep the old data as "Previous Versions" and then have "Current Version" which updates from WoWReader.

That way, you can see what drops, etc, and approximately how much until the current version gets filled.

I was thinking something similar. You could just use the data since the most recent patch as the default, but the user could put in a patch number (or even a date or date range) from which to extrapolate statistics.

Or offering some way for people to tell what data has been collected since the last patch. The loot tables seem to be changed pretty frequently and that seems unlikely to stop anytime soon.
another possible solution

how about just make the database delete data more then 2 months old?
Hooray!

Thank you, thank you!

I've been waiting for this.

Will you do this when future patches arrive (assuming the patch is known to affect the loot tables of the high-end mobs)?

Yep, even though I hate to see all that data go away, we have to do it to keep accurate.. hopefully they eventually stop mucking around with their loot tables =)
