ok if everyone agrees wit me monk 2 hour PWNS ALL.im a lvl 28 monk and i can took a Gobbie ********* down to 1/4 health at lvl 15 and it was IT+ to me ,and i had no sub job to help out, then my BLM took it out when my 2hour time was up. m(>.>)m

Hope one day you get a kraken club and use the 2hr with this.. omg..good 300 hits on a VT. And the game cant keep up with the damage too. Chat wont list it all quickly, and the animation wont show all the hits. Its insane..

i think it USED to be one minute, but now, its 45 seconds, i timed it the other day, at 1:59:15 it wore off. and also, there is about an 8 second delay after u use it until u start unlashing all the punches (5-10 seconds depending on the delay of your weapon). still with that change, its gotta be one of the bestest melee 2 hrs ever ^^b {/cheer} {monk} {master} {king}! {All right!}

This has to be one of my most favorite skills in the game. I often wonder if it can do the same amount of damage of EES in the 1 minute period that it lasts.

Eagle Eye Shot is only good for tacking a whole lotta damage all at once, when you don't have that 1minute to kill it. A monk will definetly do more damage than a ranger with 100 fists than EES, up to 2 or 3 times more even. But If a monster is casting a RapegaIII spell on a party in the red or yellow HP, and he only has about 500hp left, and that spell is just about ready to fire off, Eagle Eye Shot will take the glory. But on the other hand, if the puller (who probably is the rng^^) brings in a link, and both rng and monk pop 2hours to save the party, the rng may bring alot of damage all at once, but in that one minute of near constant punching by the monk will greatly outshadow a rangers 2hour.
It's a circumstantial thing.

One day, if I ever get to lvl 60, I want to sub DRK for a good 'ol suicide run. Last Resort > Focus > Souleater > Hundred Fists. Oh the joy of dying in battle...

twice now i've used this to keep hate off the whm's Bene. the whm is my friend and ls, so she told me she may have to use it, so a few seconds before she did i started pummeling the **** out of the mf Exoray in CN, she used Bene and it took 3 vokes from pld, war and sam to get hate from me once Hundred Fists wore off. (berserk and your pt's war's warcry would be awsome for this too *drool over the damage*)

I cant even begin to tell you how many times this little gem saved my PTY's asses in Valkurm Dunes. In the most memorable case, some nimrod pulled in a freaking Thread Leech mafia, and we had three MNKS in the party. All but me had WAR subs and therefore had Provoke. They Voked the leeches on to them and I just hit the strays a few times before all three of us whipped out 100 fists at the exact same time. We tore through those Thread Leeches like paper. All of us lvled, and we booted the nimrod who pulled the leeches.

If u got a high lvl MNK, NIN, and a mage whos weapon skill u want to raise(meaning club but if staff drop NIN sub), dual wield clubs, MNK 2hr, and counterstance. i got my never before used club skill up in a matter of seconds. this also works for staffs but not as well cus u cant duel wield. .:sigh:. love this ability.

in Qufim i saved my whole party's ***** with this. (was MNK23/WAR11). use dodge before this and an occasional boost, you become unstoppable. We got a Giant link, and after killing one i pulled this out. Dead.

Monks: if you ever get discouraged in your leveling, think on this.

There is nothing quite like a monk/war, L51/25, using Hundred Fists. With random doubles and kick atks thrown in, you turn into a whirlwind of flying fists and feet. Add claws with status effects for real fun. Damage scrolls up the screen. Much pain ensues.

Definately the best 2 hour in the game, and makes lvling monk more worthwile just to watch it in full glory.

Mnks cant use most of the H2Hs with status effects, theyre mostly nin/thf/drk only i blieve.

Even when your fighting a clipper or some such high def beasty, it's funny as hell to watch the 'miss miss miss miss miss miss miss miss miss' - with the occasional hit in there. This skill kicks ***** best 2 hr w/o question IMHO. I gobble down a mithkabob and throw this on - bye bye air elm (i'm a low lvl :D)

I agree. I'm a 14 Warrior working on my monk sub job. At level 9, I have only died once thus far. I can think of at least 5 occasions where this skill has saved me backside.
