Description

One of four zones that make up the Grand Duchy of Jeuno, Port Jeuno is the transportation hub of Vana'diel, housing airship docks for passage to Bastok, San d'Oria, Windurst, and Kazham. Port Jeuno is connected to the Sauromugue Champaign and provides access to Qufim Island. With chocobo stables, a residential area, and the Jeuno Auction House, the port is one of Jeuno's most bustling areas.

Port Jeuno is also a popular spot for fishing.

Points of Interest

  • Players who want to enter Limbus must buy a Cosmo-Cleanse from Sagheera.
  • Sagheera also converts artifact gear into artifact gear +1.
  • The Kazham airship is accessed by obtaining a Kazham Airship Pass.
  • Players can ride the airships to Bastok, San d'Oria and Windurst by completing the mission Magicite.
  • The toolbox of Borghertz, the legendary craftsman, can be found near the Duty Free shop. This toolbox is part of each job's artifact gear hands quest.

Maps

The Map of the Jeuno Area can be purchased for 600 gil from various vendors in the three nations.

Once you get 500k go to an Airship travel agency in any Nation or in Lower Jeuno and buy it, or else you get this (Key item) when you achieve Rank 5

*Edited for confusing wording*

In Desperate Need Of Gil

I have spent more of my time lvln than I have taking part in missions, quests and what have you. I have missed out on a ton of spells for both RDM23/BLM20 that I need to acquire before I really feel that I am contributing anything to my "life" in Vana.

Where to begin to acquire the gil I need to buy my spells and truly become a powerful Mage?

well for most of the spells you need Fame in the city which has the quest. bastok has warp (easy quest) windy has Aspir (need fame) Blaze Spikes (earned via quest along with fame [******]) and warp two. those are a few just off the top of my head. If you quest for these you can save your gils instead of buying them from AH. If you bought them you can return them to AH for your gil back. I avoid AH when it comes to spells at all costs however I have bought a few teleports (fame to low for some quests) and I broke down and got Erase as well -since it would drop on the BCNM's I was doing ;( The only exception the the rule is for spells that drop and are cheaper than shops, such as bind blind protectra sneak invisible ect-- psst these normally sell in AH for less than what you can sell them to NPC for [exp sneak sells for 100-400 gils and will be bought by NPC for 500-511 and protectra can often be bought for 10 gils and sold for 59-60]
RDM has very few RDM specific spells (gravity-dropped) phalanx / Dispel and refresh (buy refresh from AH was 1k when i did) and most of those spells are still above your level. Stoneskin spell is sold by the nation the has #1 on the conquest billboard charts in the magic shop, and windurst federal magic reserve has a selection as well (biggest when windy is in first) and dont forget the 3 NPC in jeuno magic shop. There is spells like barwatera or barstonra the sell for a couple k and can be bought for under 500 gils. since the level is low new characters buy them from AH so there is another method for making gil without doing a whole lot of anything.
walking to jeuno

I walked to jeuno and windhurst from bastok as a newb level 3. I knew enough to assume everything was aggro and took my time. I avoided all monsters and just chilled out at night. took a few hours but i walked around the world without a guide or any clue. Patience is all you need.

I was on my way to Qufim and I saw a lvl 2 player running around Port Jeuno. It was freaky he was a taru taru I know he was just a noob because he had the question mark still. He must have very strong LS Buddys or something.

Or he's a mule character for a main character with the gil to supply him with a stack of prism powders and silent oils for the walk from home to Jeuno. That's how I got my mule to Jeuno from Sandy. (As the prior comments show, the walk can be done with great care and NO chemical aids ... but I wanted the task over and done with -- it's a long walk! -- so I just bought the stuff, sent it to the mule, and off he went.

I did take down his "?" manually, however :)

Help Desk -> Config -> (scroll up a bit) Cancel "New Adventurer" Status

Or just do Mission 1.

I'm a lvl 19 RDM on bahamut, but last night i was helping my friend on gilgamesh so i was using a lvl 5 tarutaru WHM, my friend is a complete noob yet we walket to jeuno from windurst then continued on-to san'doria we did this without help or invis, sneak, etc (although someone else did come with us from jeuno to san'doria.

I highly dissagree with the fact that Rolanberry fields is easier, the saber-tooth tigersthere are way too strong and aggro REALLY easily.

Yeah,
I died once. Went back to Windy and got a level25 theif to escort me. He kept casting Sneak and Invisible on us and we got through not problem that second time.

????a thf doesnt have sneak and invisable.unless he had a whm or a rdm as his sub job.
but then he would need to be lvl 50 thf with rdm or whm as his sub-job at lvl 25....so [Orange][/Orange]that is untrue.
uuhhh, airship pass?

Hi, I just completed the Bastok mission with the crag of dem in it. Am I able to get an Airship Pass now? I just need a clear way of getting a pass.
uuhhh, airship pass?
# Nov 29 2007 at 2:22 PM Rating: Decent
No the crags have nothing to do with the airships. The crags are for teleports which are lvl 37-42whm spells. To get an airship pass you can spend a lot of gil or just get rank 5

Airship pass?
# Feb 05 2004 at 2:41 PM Rating: Default
I'm confused and have looked everywhere for this information: can I buy an airship pass to Windy or another city besides Kazahm here? How much are they? Can I use that pass to return to Jeuno later?

thanks in advance..
RE: Airship pass?
# Feb 06 2004 at 11:38 PM Rating: Default
Airship pass is 400,000 gil or so or you can do Rank 5 mission... it's a key item so you can use it as much as you like. it's 200 gil to board the airship however.
