what a piece of $#!% and waste of gil... if you want Mog enhancement experience, Get a bronze bed lol, or a nobles bed. (thats expensive too but at least U can get Mog expansion 3 quest)

this bed is 1 mil and does nothing but look fancy in your MH, and ppl cant visit your mog house in the game (so you cant show it off, unless you screenshot it and show it off here)

1 mil for a MH furniture, {no thanks}

I did this on Firesday in my moghouse without any support.

you can have up to 1920 inventory space if you use all 24 character slots for mules

And unlimited space if you use your delivery box and return to sender your own items to yourself... and you save the $1 a month SE charges you for each mule... but thats one cool display of mathematics, hurray!

Actually, I'm not totally sure that you have to HP to get this effect, if you read the actual notes on Moghancement Experiance, it says that it reduces the XP lost when you die, not when you HP, and with the XP loss cap at 2400, and with a Raise 3, you lose 260xp exactly (Raise 3 gives you back 90% of what you loss, NOT 99%!!! I've tested it, Raise 2 you lose 600xp, Raise 1 you lose 1800xp AT XP LOSS CAP) but yeah, anyway, I think that they might just stack. I'll test it someday with a Raise3a and post the results (Will probably only use a Nobles or something that I can borrow)

Experience Moghancement
elements at weak will get you %5 xp back
at moderate %10
at strong %15
strong is the max

I only have 12 simple beds in my MH and I have strong element.

and you can combine Experience Moghancement and raise. I get %15 + %25 = %40 with raise 1,
%50 + %15 = %65 with raise 2
never tried it with raise 3 so i dont know what it would do.

as proof I did a test with all three levels and calculated the resaults.

ex: I needed 2000 xp I had 1600 xp, with out Mog Enh XP and raise 1 i would have ended up with 1400 instead with raise %25 + %15 i actually had 1480 so I got 80 xp back. 200 - 80 = 120
80 is %40 of 200 so I lost 120xp.

at lev 56 I lost 2000 xp, with raise 2 50% + Mog XP %15 = %65 I got 1300 xp back thats only a loss of 700

Your facts and subsequently your math are a little off for Raise II. Raise II gives back 75% of experience lost, not 50%. As a quick (albeit unnecessary example), the max exp. loss is 2400 past level 60. Get a Raise II at those levels and you will receive get 1800 exp back, or 600 lost total.

If Moghancement experienced stacked with Raise II, the experienced gained back with an overwhelming energy would be 90% - the same as Raise III. Your 65% just doesn't add up.

Though look at the date of the post! It's before they changed the exp-loss for raise. The math was correct at the time.

A guy in Jeuno said he had 124 slots using royal bed....

Not sure if its the real deal, and 124 seems kind of an odd number?!?

...maybe he means with storage as well, but even with the 80 slots from nobles bed, 44 is a heck of an amount of storage as well!! ;)

Maybe there is an event like when the simple bed gives you 4 chunks of ore...?
There must be something, or it wouldnt be worth having, let alone the price it costs >:(

I also think that the nobles bed + royals bed would mean you lost less xp when you die, as you get a certain strength of element which is increased with more of the same element, therefore increasing the power of the element??
I havent been able to test this theory, and dont fancy dying a few times just to check, but it does work like that with all other elements, so I cant see why this would be any different?

The moghancement experience does nothing when u get a raise. It only effects exp loss when u go to hp.

It has moghancement strength of 24, which relates both to the effectiveness of moghancement exp and determining which moghancement you get from your furniture layout. Noble's bed has moghancement strength of 12. So this bed reduces exp loss more than any other, but it is alos a damascene cloth that could be put towards a vermillion cloak...

The effectiveness of moghancements do not stack, exp loss is determined by the highest strength bed in your layout, so having a noble's bed and a royal bed would not save you any more exp than just a royal bed.

In addition to an additional MH quest, does having it increase the MH Enhancement of reducing XP lost during "death?" I notice the other beds are STG:1 while this bed is STG:2

I'm now in my late 50s and saving XP during death would be an advantage!

This is my estimate on level requirements for crafting this item.

We know that woodworking 87 is required, so let's examine the other materials involved, shall we?

Gold Ingot -- made at Gold 50, used in gold recipes 58-103
Ruby -- made at gold 20, used in gold recipes 82-95

Damascene Cloth -- dropped, used in cloth recipes 70-74
Gold Thread -- made at cloth 58, used in cloth recipes 59-100
Silk Cloth -- made at cloth 53, used in cloth recipes 62-95

Seems to me that cloth needs to be around 70, since the Damascene Cloth is your most valuable ingredient, and Gold doesn't even need to be over 60. Just be sure to caft on Earthday or Lightningday with guild support. This is one synth you do NOT want to fail! ^^

That is why he said it was a rumor.

It would make sense, and it ould be really hard to know anyways seeing only 3 have ever sold in jeuno on Bahamut. I really don't have 2 million gil nor is one on sale for me to 100% confirm or deny such a rumor.

Damascene Cloth x1 was not available on AH when i looked for it drevv, and those that sold went for 2.4-2.8 million each. I assume there going to vermillion cloaks (which use 3 and go for 7-7.9mil) funny thing is the royal (HQ version) was only 8mil. neither I would buy at that price. I do have a LS mate that said that this was also unavailable and later said he got one finally. Not sure what he paid for it though.

u know....the trade skill equipement raises their skill lvl. mabe with clothcraft glasses, weaver apron, and goldsmith gloves.
This is what it does.

This bed as well as all of the others just reduces the amount of xp u lose when you die. The exception here is much less lost xp and also +2 space in your mog house.

the exp lost is only when you home point, and it's marginal at best at the higher levels.

wrong and wrong. This works in conjunction with anything else so if you get a raise its the bed and the raise that figures in your xp loss. Also it is actually a decent ammount, up to 400+ with no raise so add a raise on it and you could potentially lose only 300xp at 55+ (which btw xp loss is capped at 2.4k and not some huge figure)

This was all explained on a post on the main forum but obviously there is a lot of missinformation going around about it.
