Please take a look at the new "Spinning" key item for clothcraft. The spindles are not required for making thread with the traditional recipes. The spindles are used for the brand new high-yield thread recipes with Spinning.
You do not have to buy spindles for every thread, or even any. You can keep making thread as you always have. If you want to make more thread with each synth, spend 10,000 guild points on "Spinning" and pick up some of these.

ok. ive made thread w/o this but that was be4 the updates, so this might be a required >.< i dont know why they might have added this tho...... it just makes you spend 80 gil per thread
