Basically turns 4 potions into 11 and stacks an item that is otherwise unstackable.

Make it, dispense all the Potions and sell them or use them to make more Potion Tanks, and turn in the empty tank for GP.

ok... I've seen the question all over the place, "How do you refill these?!". basically it looks like if you want to refill these your gonna have to make them. here's why.... when the tank, (be it potion, ether, or water), is empty you are going to have to "De-Synth" it. this dy-synth works on "Gold Smithing" not alchemy. i wouldn't suggest trying the de-synth until at least lvl 20 gold smithing (round about guess) i tried breaking a potion tank w/ mog hancement de-synth on darks day and failed 6 times losing the tank on the 6th try. so unless you can make these items just forget refills unless you got a gold smithing and alchemy friend/friends. personally i would just throw the empty away unless you have the appropriate skills. sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

65 Alchemy is the cap, possibly 66...

You don't need much leathercraft to pull this off, made these with 17 leather with no skillups.

# Apr 26 2005 at 3:58 AM Rating: Decent
so when its empty, you need to refil using 4 potions to get it to 11/11 again?

desynthing potion tank
# Oct 03 2004 at 8:09 PM Rating: Decent
I have been experimenting with my goldsmithing friend desynthing these used up tanks and we had a hq desynth of sheep leather. Still havnt done enough of them to come up with anything more than that but we are hoping that somehwere in there the used tank will desynth into a brass tank again though its prolly not likely. By the weay my friends this is a goldsmithing desynth... he is lvl 29 btw.

At 0/11 charges this does not automatically change back to a brass tank?

This item is probably somewhere between 20 40 alchemy. My alchemy is level 48 and Potion Tank is one of the items that the lady that tells you recipies that are too low to get skill ups on anymore says I can do.

From what i've been reading it seems that if you use up all the charges this would revert back into a Brass Tank, then you would just have to resynth it into a Potion Tank again.

But that is just what've i've read, so I have no idea if this is true.

I believe you have to wait 30 seconds to use it after its equiped, I believe the reuse time is a full minute. I've been crafting these and as I recall the tag is <11/11 [:30/1:00]> which should be 11 charges, the equip time (30 sec) and then the reuse time (1 minute)

Hope this helps

I bought the only one in Bastok for 10k when I got curious. I tried at 6k and didn't get it. It has 11 potions in it. You use it by selecting the item in your items. I think you can use it every 30 seconds, but I don't think it's refillable if there's a recipe to make them.

Earth Crystal
Sheep Leather
Brass Tank
Potion x 4

No idea what skill this is or the level of th skill. Nor do I know what it does.

It's alchemy, seemingly 60-70 skill.

Yup it takes a highly skilled alchemist to pour 4 potions into a container.

I'm wondering if this would be utilizable with a lightning crystal to perform a de-synth for the basic parts then re-integrate the potions into the outcome... I know it's a long shot but it might work (sadly I'm far to unskilled as an alchemist to try this myself). Just an idea.
RE: Recipe

No..it takes a highly leveled alchemist to turn 4 potions into 11! ^^
Still looking for answers.
# Oct 15 2004 at 12:59 PM Rating: Decent
So this thing is just a 5-10k+ piece of junk after the potions have been dispensed? I would truly like to think there is some way of refilling it. This thing could be ideal for leveling low lvl jobs, but I don't think it's worth 10k to get through your first few levels (or very low middle levels, 5-10ish). Hopefully somebody can find some definite answers that are not disappointing about this potion tank. If you do feel free to email me at pierce607@hotmail.com, thanks fellow heroes. Latta.

Considering what 4 potions cost compared to the 11 you get from this thing, I wouldn't call it a "waste of money".
