Just because it is light elemental doesnt mean it doesnt give Moghancement: Gardening. All beds have different elemental properties and they all give Moghancement: Experience. Not all furniture with Earth element gives Moghancement: Gardening either. Some of them give Moghancement: Earth. I'd check to see what this gives but I have too much crap in storage atm to take all my white jars out of my mog house. I'm thinking if three people have said it gives Gardening, I'm thinking it does. Why would they say that unless they put the thing in their mog house to see what it did. It's not like they're saying it gives Treasure Hunter or something crazy like that. However, this will enhance anything with light element, such as white jars that give Moghancement: Light, or the Mahagony Bed that give Moghancement: Experience. If these do give you Moghancement: Gardening (which I can't confirm personally), you would have to add more light elemental furninshings to enhance it's Moghancement. This won't enhance your gardening if you have all other Earth Element furnishings, because only other Earth Element furnishings will boost your elemental power. So this isn't very useful to boost gardening.
The elment strenth on these is only 1. They give moghancment gardening.
I put 1 adventures cupon (3) and 5 white jars (5) in my moghouse, which means a strength of 28. To get "powerful" element, you need to get over 50. It took 23 scimtar cactus to achive powerful light strength.
I made 5 of these today and didn't receive a smithing skillup despite the fact my skill is only 20. So, I'd wager that the skill required is 20 or less. I did get a woodworking skillup though.
I played around a little with one of these, the light elemental strength appears to be less than that of my Adventuring Certificate (+3), so either 1 or 2 points.
Somepage says that this requires an unspecified-level subskill of Smithing. Iron sheet MAKING caps at 22, but I don't want to predict that 22 is the cap without more info.
I bought this thing for 20k on the Cait Sith server (price now jumped up to 50k) and it's awesome. The only thing I see wrong with it is that it IS really big -- kind of awkward. I have it sitting on a maple table, and it looks like it could snap the table in two at any second. o_o; Needless to say, I have a weird obsession with cool things in my Mog House, and the cactus is here to stay.
Adjust the resolution of menus. The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting. If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.
