this doesnt add up cuz Relic shield was in game way before they added the HNM Lufaise Meadows..
do anyone know once u trade shield to spwn NM, will you get shield back if you win or lose the fight?

Dropped off of Amaltheia, an HNM in Lufaise Meadows force spawned by trading a Relic Shield to the ???. When he is popped, summons all the Rams (VT/IT to 75) and Sheep in the zone to fight by his side. He uses WHM spells ... Holy, Banishga III, Curaga IV, Cure V, etc etc. Doubt he's a WHM though...probably PLD.
Hide is lvl98ish Leathercraft synth > Leather, which is then used to upgrade the Relic Shield.
