Vana'diel Bestiary: Blubbery Bulge  

Of all the times I've helped on the PLD quest, I've never seen this one. It's always been the Mush. So this time I see it and I'm all, ooo, NM! So I start pummeling it. The lvl 30 war with me tried to help but he couldn't get a hit off on it. Got stoneskin and blaze spikes up, hit it with a burn and spammed it with fire and rock crusher until it was dead. I'm a lvl 66 white mage.. so weak..

No drop, not that it matters since it drops junk.

>.> ok its blocking the well to get key item for pld it doesnt drop, im sure a few ppl realized that its an nm for a advanced job quest and will not drop a damn thing......., much like the kraken for the beastmaster flag quest ... its not a special nm or anythin.....

I just pwn'ed this thing helpin some random person get their PLD. It didn't touch me once... I had to rip off a couple rampages, but that's just a factor when a melee is fighting a jelly... No Drop. (whatever it may be...) I honestly doubt that slime oil is the "Big Drop" of this NM, but who knows...

Anyone know if a level 56 THF/NIN can solo this thing?

well, found this guy lookin for the pld quest spot.
see a odd name for a mob, /check..... impossible to guage! nice! one more mob for my collage of NM screen shots! i buff up (Rdm57/blm28) and start enfeeb'n on him. dia para slow bio blind choke. im hittin him for 20is per whack. (i also have a wise wiz anelace no food no en- spells up.) and start to nuke. he eventually popped my stoneskin, so i recast, and converted, rehealed, and started whackin away again. and he dies. poof. 29exp. not too bad. no drop. and WTF is this this? some guy says he gets a PCC from this guy? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. if that were the case, there'd be 200billion ppl camping this guy.

So heres the story, me (60drk/thf) and my buddy dro (60 sam/war) were runnin around davoi doin LB3. We were lost on one pond, so we checked this area. This is the DISUSED WELL! If I remember correctly NOT the WELL used for pld. That is in fact Davoi Mush. So we see it, and say ***** it NM kill!!! Easy enough, neither of us were ever red...maybe yellow...but disappeared with drain. So yea pain in the butt, but not a gaurd and no drop...one of those HAHA SE screws us again!

Just solod as a 50 DRG/WHM, nasty fight. Lucky I had a Yagudo Drink on me or I`d be toast. I wasn`t planning on fighting an NM so I didn`t bring any DEF food. >.<
Got me 36exp, but I had a partner for it. He was dead and lvl 30 though, so I consider it solod. :3

lv. 70 whm with no armor, buffs, or a club >_< took me down to 300hp from 971hp after using benediction and all my mp..(most of the MP for nuking) >_< yes, i stink ._.; it dropped.. :GASP: nothing. ;_;

i took this guy right before i went to sleep and owned him but got zero drop ;;

ehh i know i waited till 61 to finish pld quest but hey im lazy. just killed this thing from full health with no buffs he took me to 607/1154 as drg61. he hit for like 20dmg when he could hit me, his tp attack, fluid toss did 190dmg but i was never in any real danger. dropped 2 slime oils.

when me and a friend doing pld flag quest, it was very late my time, so i just wanted to get this thing over with and go to sleep, we took the short route of going thru the river and straight for the well, my mind was half asleep so i just engaged the slime b4 any more actions are made, i hit it for ok dmg but im only at 1/2 HP, friend cures me a few times till he runs out of mp, he wakes up at HP and raised me by well, we learned our lesson,got the soul, left the slimy alone and went on our way.

bad news was soon after i misled him into orc compound where everything said VT to me, it was a way out, but we both woke up at HP when they tracked us.
