I think the reason that the shadows give the creeps is the fact that they are so much like other players, its kinda like fighting a RNG gone mad.

is it just me or do these shadow mobs look like theyr the scariest in the game? evrything els looks mean..but thers just something bout an elvaan with a darkend face holding a greatsword that makes me nvr want to go into that necropolis.
You know why they feel so freaky. It ain't the eyes or the skin. It's the fact they they, unlike every other character in the game, don't breathe.

During Summerfest I got sent here, and after searching for the GoalPoint for a while, I found it and shouted "YES FOUND IT"
I immediatley took off inivisible and a Spriggan used ranged attack, hit for 492 damage. =D

It's the possibility I am wrong...but Shadow-type mobs, ie. Spriggans, don't detect aggro by sight, they detect by sound. Having them aggro you is only possible via Low HP and Sound, pretty sure it's not sight since I've had my share of that horrid Necropolis.
Yeah, they definately do not aggro by sight, I've walked right in front of them without invisible and with sneak and they didn't do anything.
i wasnt a bit fan of summerfest, as it didnt really "give" you anything... but if i recall, didnt you have to take off sneak to access the goal point as well as invis?
Correct. You could remain sneaked, but not invisible.
