They aggro, but don't link in Gusgen Mines and don't aggro but link in Qufim Island. Tried this out today :)
I think Alla should seperate mobs and zones, not put them all together.

No way in hell that these things only go up to 34.
While fishing in Bibiki today, I pulled one of these up as a 43mnk/21war. Took about 670hp off me during the fight. Regular attack for 56-68, and double attack for twice that(Obviously).
I cant imagine that something 10 levels below me could possibly take me down that far. Also, before using a Mithkabob, it checked as Ep-Low evasion. I have 55str, and 190somthing attack, so it definetly has to be higher then 34.

While waiting for my mages to heal in Korroloka Tunnel, I decided to do some fishing with my lvl 20 war. That was a mistake. After losing my catch once I fished up one of these and it killed half of my party (including me). It was more funny than anything else (my party has a good sense of humor), but they didn't let me forget it.

thess definitely do not agro and they spawn regularily in Quifim Island ppl exp off of em at 23-25. they do link tho
they dont agro in qufim, but in other areas they do.

I'm almost certain I was killed by one in Ghelsba Outpost a while back also. Players like to fish in the river off the bridge a couple of levels up, so I guess someone pulled one up. I ran in not checking the name, assuming it was just a Ghelsba Pugil. I was promptly stomped (believe I was level 14 at the time ;) ).
Found my Fishing means that when you fish you can catch this monster instead. It doesn't mean that is the only way you can fight it

The ones in the tunnel certainly do Aggro.
Yep they agrod me as a 31 drg in the tunnel. beat me within an inch of my life too.
Yes they aggrod me as a 27 WHM i Korroloka Tunnel

They sure do link in Qufim. They are non-agro there otherwise.
....on their own in Qufim, so its not just by fishing. ;)
