:/ i got 2 of my friends gold world passes and forgot about this stuff, so i know now that i havat get in a pty with the ppl but then what? is there anyone ihavta talk to? to get the berets i mean

Yeah, you get into the party with them and talk to the person you bought the world pass from. Then you ask about pass, but the person you brought to your server has to do it first. Then you talk to them and you get to choose the items from a list. Keep repeating until you can't choose anymore items.

Now as a100 day prize you can get timepiece exclusively from this event. Its a clock for your mh shaped as a harp. I have to get the person I invited over to a town so I can get mine, though he could also choose dream hat +1, I love that hat.

if u miss the stuff you can get it later of any time, but to recieve the stuff u have to be in a pt with the person u gave the pass too. If you try to do get the stuff yourself, he/she will tell you to come back in a pt with the better half..hehe

Hehe I totally foegot about my gold world pass I bought for my g/f so she would stop playing with my character. but her and i received our berets, and we have 19 more days until we get another item. we haven't tried our berets yet due to maintanence, but yeah. cant beat free stuff.
What happens if you miss collecting an item and go back when another item is available? Will you be able to choose the item you passed up?

I did this with my brother. In order for it to work, your friend (recruitee) needed to have used the Golden World Pass with the first char of his account. My brother and I used to share accounts, but when he made his own, i bought a Golden World Pass for his first char. We get our first prizes (our berets) tomorrow. XD
PS. I wonder if the Choco Teleporting Equip (a 100 day prize) is a re-usable item or a one time deal....guess i'll find out:D

My friend and I were on the same server to start out with. We decided that it would be cool if we got thi, so we got a Golden World Pass and my friend entered the number...but it didn't work. Does it not work if your friend is already permanently in that server?
It has to be used by the new player's first character on that account. If he already has a character, then he is not eligible for the Gold World Pass.
I personally think you should be able to get at least the berets some other way... I have friends who started playing just before this program was announced, and I would like to be able to party with them... *sigh*
