Tier 10 Adornment Selector Guide (EQ2)
The tables below details the Tier 10 Adornments organized by the slots to which they apply:
Crafting information
White Slot Adornments are created by Adorners.
- Lesser adornments require 1 Frozen Powder and 6 Frozen Fragments. Up to 3 Frozen Fragments are returned per craft.
- Greater adornments require 1 Infusion of Ice, 2 Frozen Powders, and 6 Frozen Fragments. Up to 1 Frozen Powder is returned per craft.
- Superior adornments require 1 Frozen Mana, 2 Infusions of Ice, 3 Frozen Powders and 6 Frozen Fragments. Up to 1 Infusion of Ice is returned per craft.
Getting the best for your bucks
Naturally one wants to get the best adornments (Superior), but these are extremely expensive and take an un-proportionally bigger amount of transmuted materials to create. So unless you are super-rich, in order to get fully adorned you might want to settle with (Greater) Tier 10 (Level 90) Adornments. Tier 10 Greater Adorns are usually EQUAL to Tier 9 Superior Adornments, So your old Lv80 transmuted materials can still be of good use to you. Before you make a Tier 10 Greater Adornment, check if creating or buying a Tier 9 Superior isn't more cost-effective. (They are named 'Ethereal Adornment of ... (same name as T10)).
Red, Yellow, Blue Adornments
Most, if not all Red and Yellow Adornments that came with "Destiny of Velious" can be bought from the Gnoll merchant Momo right next to the bell at Thurgadin Docks (1335, -540, 494).
'Chains of Eternity' Adornments don't have a merchant as of now, you can get these by defeating enemies overland and in instances. Usually they come already mounted in gear and have to be dislodged (see Adornments (EQ2))
Blue Adornments can be bought at the Champion's Respite, which is the staging area for Battlegrounds PVP matches. They only fit into Battlegrounds-gear. This gear has recently been upgraded note-ably and is equally useful in PVE combat. You can reach Champions Respite by clicking on the winged-brazier in all major cities and take a look at the merchants' goods there. Both, gear and Adornments are sold for 'Havoc Marcs' which are awarded for participating in PVP matches and daily PVP quests.
