The Breakdown

You will need 2 tanks for this fight and you will also need to split up the raid into 2 'teams'. The Twins share the same health pool, so damage done to one is also dealt to the other.

When the encounter starts, 4 portals will appear in the room, forming a square. There will be 2 black and 2 white portals. Each Twin should be tanked between a pair of portal, between a black and a white one more precisely.

Clicking on a portal will surround your character with a Black or White light (Depending on the portal you've clicked) and this is the core mechanism of this fight. When you are empowered by a color, you deal double damage to the Twin of the opposite color and absorb all damage from that same Twin. Because of this, you will want 1 white tank and 1 black tank, as well as to split the dps between both colors.

Eydis Darkbane is the Black Twin, Fjola Lightbane is the light twin. Obviously people tanking and dpsing the white Twin should be black and vice versa.

The two main things to worry about here, are their two special abilities - The Vortex and the Shield. The twins will cast these at about 30 seconds interval and the game randomly decides which Twin is casting and which ability is being cast. While one Twin is casting, the other will use Power of the Twins and deals much greater damage, so healers still need to pay attention to both tanks.

Here's what you need to do based on the ability used:

Ability Tactic
Vortex Whenever a Twin starts casting Vortex, the entire raid (Both tanks, healers and dps) need to switch to that Val'kyr's color as soon as possible. The raid has 5 seconds to do, after that the Vortex will be cast and deal damage - most likely killing - anybody who isn't of the same color. i.e. If Eydis Darkbane starts to cast Dark Vortex, everybody needs to click on the black portal.
Shield This ability put a shield around one of the twin, she then starts to cast Twin's Pact, which heal them for a massive amount (20%). You have 15 seconds to break the shield and interrupt her. In order to do that, you'll need all your dps to switch to the opposite color of the Twin and start dealing as much damage to her as they can. Keep in mind that the cast still needs to be interrupted, simply breaking the shield doesn't halt it. i.e. If Eydis Darkbane puts up Shield of Darkness, all the DPS need to go click on a white portal and need to dps the shield down immediately.

Once the the abilities are dealt with, you should return to your original color and return to your original twin. Obviously, if you are already the proper color when one of those ability is being cast, you do not need to change color.

The Val'kyr don't do all that much damage by themselves, the main challenge of this fight is in dealing with those special abilities.

Throughout the fight the arena will be filled with black and white orbs, flying around. If you are hit by an orb of the opposite color, you will take damage. If you are hit by an orb of the same color, you earn a stacking buff that further increase your damage against the opposite color. Do your best to avoid the opposite orbs and absorb the same color orbs.
