"The hills earr keep spinning the wonders of wells. Twisting twisting fly in water scar hot horses. Teach me! Bring me floating water islands of doom!"

I've always thought this text involved the weird Dock at the Timorous Deep evil outpost. The boat moves up and down, the firepots are traps that break invisibility, and two of the endposts of the pier can be manipulated. All the time one can hear chains clanking.

So nobody knows what quest this guy is for?Maybe he is here just to make us wonder what he's for, I am sure variant gets it's jollies from having us try to do quests that don't exist....not!

I hail him and all he says is some strange stuff like "The hills ears keep spinning the wonders of wells. Twisting twisting fly in water scar hot horses. Teach me! Bring floating water islands of doom!"

He doesn't say anything to my warrior but he responds to my druid (Tunare). Anyway if any of that stuff makes any sense to anybody out there or if it is for some quest everyone has done and they got a fine steel broadsword lemme know I would appreciate it

Drendico should be indifferent to everyone! He is part of the necro epic quest among others I think.

We killed this guy today, because we wanted to see what sword he was hold (junk). He conned even and indiff to me (56 Iksar Monk), dubious to some, amiable to others. No faction for killing him.

Oh, and he's a Shadowknight, and harm touches for 881 points.

Mystical donuts swirling in the time of tomorrow! Green pirates spew little dragons in the woods of light! Where are the ice bakers now? Perhaps in the tunnels of the sky? Overlord bats of candycane pies!

Hi he is yellow to 55 i'm 110% sure b/c i just killed faydedar yesterday and he was on track when in zoned in on the oasis raft. He's definately yellow to 55 meaning he's 56 or 57. also, typically quest npcs (like especially epic ones) are indiff. to all... not sure about drend in particular, but tha'ts usually the way it goes.

He conned amiable to a Wood Elf ranger of Tunare. Go figure. I still gave him a wide berth, thinking it might be amiable in the sense that the Ogres in the Karanas con amiable.

The reason that those ogres attack is that Chief Goonda is rta for you, and the other ogres group when he's agro. Goonda's agro is also fairly wide, for an old world mob. The ogres themselves are on Rallos Zek faction, and give a pretty heavy faction hit if you kill them. If you con a mob, and it says amiable, the mob is amiable. I'd only be concerned if you just zoned in and they're indifferent, occasionally faction tables take a moment to refresh, and indifferent is the default. =P

no hes amiable to me too its either cause ive turned in lightstones to smith in sro or cause ive turned in muffins to the freeport guy cause those are the only 2 quests ive done enough to be amiable muffin quest btw is the faction needed for a lot of epics its like keepers of the art of something like that

read the post above this post. they are discussing how/ why an "amiable" mob might agro.

Same is true for the Wolves in DSP. A normal wolf to me (druid, Halfling) "Amiable". If a blood wolf "threatning" attacks me, the previously Amiable wolf will join in and attack.

Now what they are saying is. (as an example) you have a center mob thats KillOnSight to you, and a ring around him of amiables. but that center guy, lets say has a huge agro radius, out distancing the others encompassing him... And he has social agro, and will encourage (otherwise friendly mobs) to jump you.

Hes an instigating bully.

Only second most annoying agro, the first most annoying being suicidal. (green mobs jumping you) this would be the prisoners in HHK and light crawlers.
